My problem is the safey pins I use end up getting stuck in the saree material and end up putting small hole. Suggestions appreciated to avoid ruining my beautiful sarees

I got one suggestion from my aunt. Take a small piece of paper, fold it once and insert it in the safety pin. Push it towards the bottom. Then use the pin. Hope it helps.
