As a journeyman wood machinist I can certify the glue in the wood crack trick is a life saver. I’ve also reinforced pieces where the edges will be concealed with a thin countersunk wood screw

Okay as to the screw which is actually a bolt. If it's loose just hand turn it. Because when you start getting close to it being fully in. That's when you would need a tool. Given that's a pre-drilled hole like you do with bolts. Then unless you have some type of physical problem. There should be no struggle whatsoever. Lining the hole up and slowly turning it. Until you get a good feel then go a little faster. That being said, he was putting it in wood. So if it starts getting hard to turn. It's better to stop before you split the wood. Because chances are the hole is not deep enough. Or you bought the wrong size bolt

Some of those homemade tools already exist and can be bought for cheap. The second clip is a poor man's contour gauge, and the third clip is an angle finder. Contour gauges are commonly used in flooring when you need to cut a certain shape so thw tiles/panels will match the obstruction (such as trim work or dividing walls). The angle finder is...well self explanatory. It finds an angle and acts as a reference for marking out said angle. They are useful in carpentry and other stuff like that.

We didnt use them all the time but we used to buy reusable zipties. Just press the metal clip down and it would release.
Or just use your thumb nail to undo the latch like a normal person

Why not use a socket that is the same measurement as the wrench.
Use the RING SPANNER properly and you don't need the socket or this bullshit.

The first one is unnecessary. You can use the end of the zip tie, bend it back, and put the tip in the section, and untie it that way.
