    The person I love was diagnosed with cancer. I can't stop crying. I hope things will be okay.
    I want us to grow old together. I want us to live life.

    I was the sole carer for my mother when she got cancer, one of the biggest eye openers for me was those you expect to be there for you werent and those you LEAST expect to be there and help out whether emotionally or physically were there, my mother has passed now, it was a very intense year or so and am glad shes now at peace no more suffering

      I'm 34 M. From Canada. I have colon cancer. I am unvaccinated so they refuse surgery. And since the covid ended here basically 4 months ago they refuse to continue my pain management medications. Or my motility medications which make your intestines move feces. I k ow how she feels. My wife and I argue daily about the time that's given with my children from her and the help I need. I'm exhausted daily and it's just getting worse. Please be patient with her. You may not u derstamd the pain exhaustion and isolation cancer patients feel. It is 1000% different than any ailment I have had or seen. Including almost loosing my daughter to ecoli. This is ongoing to no avail. Pray for you and yours.

    Is it normal to not feel any emotion after finding out that your friend has cancer but than again I do just have late reactions and I’ll probably realise what’s happening a bit more later

    • @reika542
      @reika542 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It's a completely normal reaction, it's a way of expressing shock. it's a huge flush of emotions just coming out that you don't know how to react at all so you default to just staying normal. The best thing to do is to support them to your best abilities

    Having no support with uterus cancer from sisters or children maybe they don't realize it's not just a cancer / hysterectomy at age 70 or it's because it's not them but I'm in this pony show by myself 100%

      I’m so sorry! This is truly awful. My best friend of 40 years is no longer a friend, and my son is no longer in my life. Going through cancer you see who your true family members and friends are. I’m fortunate that my family (minus my son) is here for me.
