These coaching videos are absolutely incredible... it is so useful to see how other healers play and how they choose their talens - and then to get the professional explanation of why x is better for y reason in z case.... super insightful! Keep up the good work
Man it feels good to be back with the submitted commentary. I've never played M+ before. Is there any advice you can give on prepping for my first mythic dungeon? There are simply some things heroic dungeons do not require so it's hard to follow your pack to pack advice to the T. I'll submit a recording when I hit a wall with M+.
One thing I wanted to get your thoughts on with the state healing in Wow to me it feels like we are healing less than we have ever healed and then it feels like I'm doing no damage. I don't feel that now.... specifically disc priest is in a good place. I feel like we are in a shield to help players survive at higher end keys but in the lower ones you could play any healer and it would be a better option.
I don't know much but discipline... and i think it feels amazing and pairs beautifully with incoming damage patterns. I'm tempted to think something is off in your gameplay if you feel it has low output.

The current rank #1 disc in M+, a Chinese player, is not running mindbender or inescapable torment in any of his keys. Instead he is running divine aegis and aegis of wrath while stacking crit gear. What is the logic behind this / how does this make any sense? It obviously can't be too bad as he is timing +12s but in my mind it feels like a significant damage and healing loss. Just curious to hear your input thanks
A common consensus I find a lot of wow players land on due to the "meta" fever content creators instill in people is that there is only 1 way to find success with a spec. It's just so far from reality and so misleading.. I personally love the idea of going that route and used to myself years ago-- It's great fun being that shieldy and a veryyy defensive build. Great HPS but would be a major DPS loss. Potentially not as fun either.

Very useful video. One thing I notice I do out of laziness is waste my points in Dispel Magic, Purify and Mass Dispel for encounters/dungeons where they're not really needed :/ How do you keep track which ones require these? Is it just off the top of your head?

@@JustDiscipline I'm more so comparing this season vs previous season of disc I feel that as a whole it's lower.

Yeah, it's something you just need to learn so you can reconcile those points when not needed!
