19:10 - OP does not set DCs for checks. Just goes off vibe 23:10 - OP killed a PC just so I could revive them 28:52 - If OP has multiple enemies; they just skip rolling initiative 33:40 - Op and there players gaslight their DM 35:26 - Op fudged monster HP so that certain players get the final blow 40:30 - Op fudged a boss save to let a player remain with the party 45:24 - Vince made a false hydra encounter out of spite (I am also a current player and slightly scared) 53:48 - Op lied about how their trigger worked to avoid a sticky situation 59:39 - Op intentionally left a line off the thunder wave to remain sneaky.
Something I have seen a streamed play of d&d do with final hits (for bosses not for all combat) is whenever someone gets the final hit they ask the whole party in initiative order (finishing with the person who got the final hit) to explain a final barrage of attacks or ways they assisted etc. it’s like a final group cinematic ending with the epic final hit from the person who actually got the hit. I loved that version for bosses.
as a dm, if my players had straight up lied to me about a rule or way one of their abilities worked i wouldnt be able to play with them again. so much of this game is built on trust and if i, like yall said, am managing 30 different things AND have to keep track of ur shit too, id simply ask the player to not return
As far as being bad at comedic improv, a lot of people think comedy is the goal, but comedy often doesn’t happen from TRYING to be funny. As an improv performer, my two goals are to be honest and to support those around me. Honesty in an absurd scenario is bound to create humorous results, so just react. I think you’d be great!
Amazing episode, love the concept of it too! Have to say I have 100% used thunderwave and missed out reading the noise it makes with one of my characters haha
Hey Mags I need you to know that I had never seen a single clip of Frankie Valli until you mentioned it on twitch the other day and now it is most of my for you page on TikTok 😂

40:13 REALLY wasn’t expecting my name and I jumped while lay in my bed lol, now I just have to hope my players don’t find this 👁️👁️
I could never do a False Hydra, because my players legitmately forget everything anyways.
maybe you already are running one!
It can be hard to run, but it's so fun to mess with your players as they try to figure out what is going on. Use their forgetfulness against them.
That intro was crisp....... I also lie 🤣
That submission sounds like typical Bince behaviour

As someone who streams in drag twice a week, I CAN ATTEST TO THE EFFORT! I quit wearing wigs and blame my headset 😅
Also, ya both cute, but Jack would make such a good bearded queen!
Its Thursday SQUADBLASTEEEEEEERRRRRRRS! Also confirmed, jack is pale as pale can be.
Umm, excuse me guys. I just started the video and there's no Bully. I think I might have to raise a complaint to Ofcom.
I made a kale grain bowl with coconut aminos
Omg am I first here 👀😂
