This video did way better than I anticipated, So I thought I should also share my thoughts about the movie:
The film itself depicts an absolute nightmarish truth which happened not even a hundred years ago but one scene which in my opinion is one of the most gut wrenching parts of this tragedy is the scene where the nazis bring an old woman tied to her bed and say "we will leave you hear to breed, make many babies grandma" and leave her outside completely helpless not far from the dead bodies of her children but instead of being scared, she just laughs because she cannot comprehend what is going on and to me, that is just something that would scar me for the rest of my life.

The burning church scene always frightens me and I’ve had nightmares of that scene for almost 2 weeks and I still hear Floyra’s gut wrenching screams as I died in his arms as the church continues burning down; the Nazis continued laughing at what they just did before Floyra gives them the angriest stare they’ve deserved and I did not expect Floyra to go on a grieving rampage straight away because he loved me this much to do it very quickly. Come and see will haunt my mind for sometime

This is probably the most stark and realistic war film I have ever seen. Don't let the subtitles deter you. It was made during the Soviet era. Little known in the West, there was some really fine quality work that came out of the Soviet film studios.

This film was so dedicated to being as realistic as possible during filming.
They used live ammunition and bullets passed actors by mere inches. And the scene where a cow gets shot? It was a real cow.
Alexey Kravchenko, Flyora's actor, was put on a starvation diet to be as bare-bones as possible in the ending scenes.
He almost went insane and the director was scared that after this he would be sent to an asylum.
The excellent makeup made people suspect that Flyora's hair went all grey on it's own, while in reality it was all just grease paint with a bit of real silver. He had to live with his hair looking like that for a few months after filming ended.
The uniforms used by the German actors were all genuine war relics, probably borrowed from the state museums.

On the 16th anniversary of getting Woody, he threatened me of showing me what war is really like and I was saved by Floyra knocking Woody out cold; I was literally crying when Floyra showed up and Floyra escaped with me to go into hiding. I’m not at all surprised that Floyra has so much hatred towards Woody and he will reveal to Woody how protective Floyra really is. If it weren’t for my Come and See movie showing up, I’d very likely become as evil as Woody but my beloved war ain’t having it

I find this music very haunting now and it literally played in my nightmares of the movie after Floyra went on a meltdown after I died protecting him from an Nazi ambush whilst the children were screaming in my burning church. It was gut wrenching that Floyra managed to get me out of the church as it was burning down all for me to just die minutes later because of me wanting Floyra to make it out. War movies never allow me to survive but I managed to survive in Saving Private Ryan; the nightmares treat me like I’m the lead in war movies when I’m really not. I hated the scene in my nightmares where Glasha reuniting with Floyra just days after losing me because she rudely interrupted his grieving time and the PTSD that Floyra had to endure afterwards was something I’ve never experienced before, he was just so heartbroken that Floyra ended up blaming his own mother for why I died and he thinks that the mother had planned my death out but the real culprit was really Glasha who wanted me and Floyra separated. I’ll never forget that
