- In this video you can see the Caterpillar 390F moving out of the north hall of the Las Vegas convention center and being taken to a rear staging area where it is unloaded ready to have it's stick and bucket removed for further transportation.

I've seen some guys that think they can drive and maneuver a lowboy but my hats off to Paul Delong Heavy Haulers.They have the equipment and the operators to operate it and didn't destroy anything.
Noticed all the forklifts looking very busy ! All of them are empty ! Great truck handling for sure !

The 390F is sooo impressive. And the driver is a true professional, hats off!!! My question is after all the maneuvering, loading inside,off loading outside, what was the reason for relocating outside? Don't get me wrong, I love to watch those massive machines!! But, did they take it outside to dismantle it to transport it back home? Would like to know!

That's amazing. I think his off track is better than the 4 axle rgn I used to get a piece out of there. Definitely a stressful place to deal with. Glad I only have to go in every three years.
That's Paul Delong Heavy Haul. I know the owner and drivers personally. They are the best in the business hands down. I worked for Cashman Equipment for 6 years and did many moves with them. I handled many trade shows for CAT and I can say it is a very complicated and stressful. Getting in and out of the LVCC is a cluster on a good day and if you are impatient you might as well go home. Working with the union folks is challenging but you have no other choice. There is a lot more behind the scenes stuff then everyone see's, these trade shows are planned for months and even years. Conexpo and Minexpo take years of planning to execute a one week show. Lots of money involved too...
Jonathan Jundt I've been going to Conexpo from 2008 and Paul DeLong heavy haul gets stuff out of that building quicker than any of the other guys.

390F, complete!! Boom, stick counterweight and bucket!!!, haha would love to see your weights per axle set!! Extremely highly doubt any of your axles we're legal, I can't even make legal height with a 374F with only main machine and boom 🙄🙄🙄🙄
When we haul these, it’s 11 axels but way less of a spread. Has to be stripped down. No weights, stick or boom.
The company we contract for tried hauling it On their outfit, fully loaded w/ weights, stick, boom and bucket on 9 axels...blew both rear ends out of the truck.

Clyde Lindsay He seems to be able to Do about 4 moves a day if it's going anywhere within the Las Vegas area. From he arrives on site until he leaves it's about 30 minutes.

How do you lift your trailer neck? Is it electric now? I'm working with an 04 cozad, with pony motors in the front and back, your videos don't seem to have your help firing up any kind of ice engine? Is the new cozads up to date with the times?? Would love to know, always wondered if that would work, thank you!!

How is the rear trailer dolly section being steered?
Unloading was ok, but would liked to have seen them loading it onto the trailer as well.
Atoyota They told me they wouldn't be loading until 8am at the earliest. I turned up at 8 and it was already on the trailer.

Shit like that drives me crazy. Had the pickup blocking that lane and everything and he stills squeezes in there like a dickhead. I learned just how shit little cars like that treat truckers on my very first day out on the road. So damn stressful just being out on the lookout constantly for idiots like this always trying to squeeze in.

Is that rear dolly steerable and if so by whom? Smooth move even with obstacles and idiots on the road. Not a job where you want to make a wrong turn or you might have to cross 2 states looking for room to turn around :)

The back is a turret style that steers in the opposite direction he trailer does to allow it to follow while staying in the same lane, requiring it to not need a wide turning radius, it also has a hydraulic power pack and remote to be operated by either the driver or your pilot car

impessive excavator... but i am always wondering, why the transports from the expo are allowed to have such a high axle load. i think this here has +- 15 t. per axle... in other parts of usa they have to reduce it below 10 or less tons per axle... can someone tell me why for the expo do count others rules?
Xavier Folger they usually work with the dot/highways dept to allow the heavy stuff to move from the expo site to a staging area nearby, the 390 for example will need its counterweight and bucket removed along with secondary boom ram unpinned to get the height lower.

moving out is the simple part, getting the trailer and the excavator in seems more tricky. also someone needs to make a trailer like this for ats and ets 2 those heavy dlc trailers in game aint nothing to this

Makes you wonder what brainiac designs a convention center where the floor doors open facing another building.... Yeah, most normal trucks can drive in or out okay, but just a few more brain cells could have made a huge difference on design and door location resulting in a huge improvement in functionality and flow.

Wow, boom, stick, bucket and counterweight!? On one of Cat's biggest excavators, would like to see the weight numbers. Cannot imagine that being under legal weight on any axle of that trailer. Send me the numbers, or cat scale pic. Would love to see. So many lowbed companies bootleg their loads it's insane. Just sayin. You should at least abide by the law. I know we have stupid ass routes and insane permit routes, we should be held responsible for the routes we take. #Heavy haul Brotherhood.

Why he spun blindside knowing there are other peiple and vehicles on that side after backing off the trailer with no spotter in a public parking lot is beyond me... don't get me wrong. In the beginning they should of had all that shit moved before the semi came out, it would have been easier for the semi and the workers that is bullshit how there is so much stuff in the way if I was that semi truck I would not leave the building until all that crap is moved my dad is a truck driver and he hasbeen to places where I stuff was not moved out of the way he did not leave the building

Rodney Stewart here where i work we got 3 of those 390F L, only thing I can say, yes powerful machine but bucket is crap, cannot handle the power and we already broke 4 of them.
