I am an old woman now and this morning I can't get to Mass. I have to travel a bit to the Latin Mass, to which I am devoted. Couldn't get there this morning due to my health not being up to the bus and train journey today. So, I have been praying as always and then needing company went online and wow I found this. I knew it was happening because my Latin Mass Society in England where I live keeps me involved with what's happening. It was beautiful to see this and hear the Credo being sung. I would have loved to have been there but no matter, the Lord is faithfully here with me. God bless all. Amen.

I’m very sad, because in Tijuana Méx. there is a Priest, Monseñor Isidro Puente, who has been in charge of what they call Minor Seminar, I’m not sure how many kids does he have, but there has been a lot of envié from other priest, they criticize him for wearing the traditional cassock, his bishop wants him out and to stop his mission. He is preparing his kids with the Traditional Latin Mass. he is 77 years old, and going through this chalice.

“The Church” is gone, so, I have started collecting and studying the body for Catholicism, Ecclesiastical Latin, the Latin Vulgate, the Summa Theologica, the Liturgy of Prayers, the Catechism of Trent, et al, preparing for the continued practice of genuine Catholicism when there are no more legitimate (ie, Tridentine Latin) masses to attend. The Old Mass is a liturgical discipline subject to the jurisdiction of the pope. The Old Mass itself replaced another form of liturgy and I read the practitioners were not too pleased with being replaced. You are raising a liturgy to the level of superstition. Maybe there is a place for traditionalism and also the new way. You may be interested in a film called The Catholics, a tv film by Jack Gold about a group of monks who want to keep to the traditional mass. I recently abandoned atheism this year and God came to me, I am a beginner Catholic! My father (although he is a communist) just told me that my aunt who is very devout is currently at the events described in this video!

Do you think a demonstration of a large group of traditional pilgrims praying like in a protest style but with prayers and holy signs would do anything except getting all TLM kicked out. The fact that you frame everything as a battle the traditionalists have to win is the main problem. As long as traditionalists see themselves as a superior kind of Catholics you are a danger to the unity of the church. You turned the traditional Latin mass into a weapon to divide the faithful and turn them against their bishops. Do you realise how arrogant you sound when you claim a position of exception at the Synod? How do you reconcile that with the words of the credo, your belief in the unam, sanctam, catholicam et apostolicam ecclesiam ? The Catholic Church is not a political party and the likes of Panzer-Müller, Burke and Schneider are not the leaders of a “a loyal opposition”. They are very divisive figures who turn brothers against brothers and turn people who know hardly anything about the magisterium and canon law into borderline heretics. You can’t accept the magisterium of the church and refer to canon law when a pope does something you like. I don’t think pope Francis is a wise man but “He is Peter”, just as Benedict XVI was Peter. If you cannot be loyal to and accept the authority of the Supreme Pontiff as established byTrent and Vaticanum I, you better leave the Catholic Church. You may be interested in a film called The Catholics, a tv film by Jack Gold about a group of monks who want to keep to the traditional mass. I recently abandoned atheism this year and God came to me, I am a beginner Catholic! My father (although he is a communist) just told me that my aunt who is very devout is currently at the events described in this video!

In last week’s Underground, I announced that rather than continue endless harangue over the pros and cons of our hopelessly flawed political options in the upcoming election, I would confine myself to encouraging RTV viewers to simply vote their conscience and pray for a Providential outcome.
Since then, a number of RTV viewers have asked for my opinion on a new statement on this issue by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano.
Put simply, the new Vigano article does not induce me to change my position.
Ironically enough, it was an article by His Excellency Archbishop Vigano last year that helped to form my position vis-a-vis Donald Trump.
Archbishop Vigano had written a Declaration (which I published in The Remnant) regarding the “Spirit of Lincoln” gala, which had taken place in the main ballroom of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago beachfront club and was a “joyous celebration of gay rights and the historic same-sex marriage law signed by President Joe Biden days earlier.“
Donald Trump gave a speech at the event in which he said: “We are fighting for the gay community, and we are fighting and fighting hard. Archbishop Vigano’s words had a profound impact on me. Trump flip-flopped and the very issues which had caused me to support him in 2016. Along with Vigano, I saw what he did as a betrayal of those who defend everything I hold sacred.
So, no, after having been convinced by Archbishop Vigano’s 2023 Declaration to stand against the GOP sellout on abortion and gay marriage, I will not be amending my position. The fact that you frame everything as a battle the traditionalists have to win is the main problem. As long as traditionalists see themselves as a superior kind of Catholics you are a danger to the unity of the church. You turned the traditional Latin mass into a weapon to divide the faithful and turn them against their bishops. Do you realise how arrogant you sound when you claim a position of exception at the Synod? How do you reconcile that with the words of the credo, your belief in the unam, sanctam, catholicam et apostolicam ecclesiam ? The Catholic Church is not a political party and the likes of Panzer-Müller, Burke and Schneider are not the leaders of a “a loyal opposition”. They are very divisive figures who turn brothers against brothers and turn people who know hardly anything about the magisterium and canon law into borderline heretics. You can’t accept the magisterium of the church and refer to canon law when a pope does something you like.
I don’t think pope Francis is a wise man but “He is Peter”, just as Benedict XVI was Peter. If you cannot be loyal to and accept the authority of the Supreme Pontiff as established byTrent and Vaticanum I, you better leave the Catholic Church. I have a lot more respect for believers who leave the church and join FSSPX than for people who want to do a hostile takeover of the church, like MAGA usurped the GOP.
