I used to drive back from my friends' house with my memorizing and instinct, my house is in the city but I saw only more and more trees.......I gave up and opened google map, It showed me that I was heading in the opposite direction of where I was supposed to go.

Hello!! Just want to add in a tiny translation correction but other than that, the video is so comedic and wholesome 💗💗 thank you for putting in the effort to translate this!!
At 04:50, "やったよこれ” means: already done this. So, Genzuki is saying that he and Nagao already figured out/saw that the map can expand. "We've been here before" can work but it's more accurate to say "already done this" because in the sentence, he doesn't specify a location.

I was torn between writing that but i thought writing "We've been here before" as like "we've been in this situation before" would sound more casual(?) and could avoid using the same word as the sentence before www (but i hope the message would still deliver!)

I would like to offer other phrasing like: "went over this" or "did this already" if, in the future you come across the same problem (tho that is unlikely).
I completely understand that English and Japanese aren't your first language and I'm not stressed about the translation.

I love the genzuki-nagao comedic duo so much. Genzuki playing as the straight man while nagao suffers is oddly entertaining. Though?? I feel like I'm with Nagao when it comes to maps and directions.

I had a friend like that too. When we were on language holiday in Nizza, it was always me who had the map. The few times I gave it to her, we took so much longer to get back to where we were staying. She even ran past that without looking twice over a week in. When we visited London, she could not be trusted to go back to the hotel via the tube train on her own, because she would get lost if no one showed her the way.
Anyway, thank you very much for the translations and the video. I enjoyed it a lot.
