Fortunately, it's only the first few weeks with Nora and not the whole year, and she doesn't use her baby to get food. You have to be a tough kid to make it with Nora, and I'm so relieved that he is not only there but looks better than the last we saw him. A real relief.

I'm a day late and a dollar short lol I think this little one is a boy IMO....I think I saw a little "birdie" around 31:22 lol thank you Arroz for taking such care of all your primate family. Although most of us will never meet we are all never any further than this channel and our hearts! Oh yeah and with being in and out of the hospital I totally missed my 3 year anniversary being cancer free! Whoot whoot!!
There must be something wrong with Nora. I think that her milk probably doesn't come in or something like we humans get (mastitis). She's not a " mean or horrible, " monkey. There's something wrong that we can't see. But my heart brakes for her babies.

It's cute how the juveniles treasure their little finds, even if it's our trash! One might think that the little one with the water bottle and the one with the red bag, had their most prized Birthday gifts to show off.
The trash bothers me as well but I honestly don’t think that it’s intentional just neglectful in their judgment and thought. I believe they must get so caught up in the delight of feeding the monkeys that they don’t think about who’s going to pick that trash up afterwards. And the monkeys are so mischievous they will get into trash bins if they aren’t locked up good. We should just try to kindly bring awareness to others but don’t let the negative actions of others affect your emotions. It’s a vicious cycle to do yourself. Have a blessed day. And may all the trash be picked up rather than thrown to the ground!!

I didn't see where the baby was nursing. She holds the baby higher than her teats. There may have been a brief moment where the baby was nursing but every time you said it was nursing I was like, no, it doesn't look like she's letting it nurse at all. She knows very well how to sit and hold the baby so that it's too high to be able to nurse.
She seems like she is deficient in something. It reminds me of new canine mothers when they are lacking in calcium and they can't settle. But it could just be psychological

Postpartum Depression is a very serious condition. I had it after the birth of my second child. After a few weeks on meds, I was ok again. The chemical changes in the body affect the brain and cause depression. Some women who didn't receive treatment have committed suicide. There are organizations now who's purpose is to educated the public about this condition. I don't know why more OB-GYNs don't discuss PPD with pregnant women before they give birth.

I've waited for an "update" on Eddie. I wondering from time to time how he is and seeing him now makes me happy. Edith has done a good job. Those two older females sitting side by side (like two owls) was very much present in Eddies upbringing. I think it was the first time we saw Eddie, those females was sitting close to Edith as two bodyguards. Seeing Xena is always a bonus. It was so funny when she mounted Mr Buff when he tried to mate with her. Nora is an enigma (I don't mean the ringed worm). Umm so curious to why she acts like she does. AM thank you for this video. I like to watch the kids when they get restless because most of the time they start to play or are mischievous. 🤓🏴☠️🇸🇪
Nora should stop having babies. She's such a bad mother. Other females are so much better even first times mums. So sad. She's more concern about stuffing her face with food than feeding her cute baby.
Nora may simply not like the sensation of the newborn nursing. They seem to nurse nonstop at that age and she may be annoyed by it. She just isn't a tolerable Mom. Rare and strange, nonetheless.
Nora seems to have made strides in allowing her new baby to suckle, whereas with her previous ones she would refuse them by pushing them away from her teat. (Small wonder their lives were so short.) Time will tell if it's a boy or a girl. Can't wait to find out! 🐵👦👧🇬🇧🇺🇸
I wondered what it was myself, but ever the so knowledgeable Arroz never fails to be insightful!! That’s why I love watching his videos! And then I wondered the exact same thing, how does that happen? So sad to see something suffer. But you know when you see that it makes you sit back and kinda feel ashamed that we humans take so much for granted with our own health and how quickly we complain over a bruise and then you see these animals that suffer in nature and they survive and often thrive. It’s pretty amazing. Just like all the ones that have lost fingers, toes, limbs, hands, and persevere on, never giving up! God is so good for His many creations! I am in awe!

LOL I look at Löwina , Stumpy, Mr Takashi and have such respect for them. Carrying on every day without a whimper. And that one poor female who had such a horrible head wound. If they survive without infection, they’ll be ok. Even Bessie though whose severe wound with cellulitis afterward, resolved and she gets around quite well. There is something I have noticed and this man teaches us not just sitting watch if you have sense and listen monkeys no all animals if they feel that there's something wrong eternally with those animals they don't feed them they don't want anything to do with them because the law of the jungle is drum roll please only the Strong survive and if there's something wrong eternally with them it will carry on and keep going and keep going with defects and that's why they reject those babies I love this man I've learned so much from him just watching for years if you watch excuse me no listen you'll learn.
I was thinking maybe her milk might not come in right away..I know nursing when not producing hurts a lot..so that might be the issue? Either that or maternal instincts are late to kick in..poor baby!
I wonder what the prognosis is for Edith with that hernia. Will it clear up on its own or will it cause complications to the detriment of her health? I couldn't find any literature on umbilical hernias in Rhesus monkeys. I just hope she will be okay. Nora's baby is obsessed with milk, it is obviously not getting enough. It is also not behaving like a normal baby, not curious about its surroundings but constantly fighting with mum for milk. Nora is definitely mentally unstable, in the previous video she overreacted when offered goodies which was unusual.

Hi, no torturing going on at Monkey hill in Hong Kong. In the past a sick individual was throwing acid on the monkeys and they have found traps in the forest but I guess those traps was meant for the boars. Hong Kong is different from for example Cambodia because it's a very wealthy city and the residents are educated. In Hong Kong it's only two persons filming the monkeys and upload video to TH-cam. Nan usually grooms her when Nora has a baby. Not many monkeys dare to approach an alpha while she has a baby. It's the same with Bossy. Only a few of her daughter's can groom her while she's having a new born. 🤓🏴☠️🇸🇪

The mother monkey is doing everything but shoving it in that stupid baby monkeys mouth. At least human babies have the instincts to root and find it. The baby monkey had plenty of chances to nurse. It’s just not smart enough.
I hope this one makes it but unfortunately with what would seem to be only mere minutes a day to nurse doesn’t seem likely. I wonder if she realizes she’s killing her offspring.

I wondered what it was myself, but ever the so knowledgeable Arroz never fails to be insightful!! That’s why I love watching his videos! And then I wondered the exact same thing, how does that happen? So sad to see something suffer. But you know when you see that it makes you sit back and kinda feel ashamed that we humans take so much for granted with our own health and how quickly we complain over a bruise and then you see these animals that suffer in nature and they survive and often thrive. It’s pretty amazing. Just like all the ones that have lost fingers, toes, limbs, hands, and persevere on, never giving up! God is so good for His many creations! I am in awe!

@@candywright3064 So right Candy. And I agree. These Macaques are so resilient. I remarked to someone recently that this is the 2% of the DNA that separates us! LOL I look at Löwina , Stumpy, Mr Takashi and have such respect for them. Carrying on every day without a whimper. And that one poor female who had such a horrible head wound. If they survive without infection, they’ll be ok. Even Bessie though whose severe wound with cellulitis afterward, resolved and she gets around quite well. I try not to complain but every once in awhile…. We’ll, I am only human after all. LOL 😂 Take Care Candy. Oh and I agree, God is amazing & Arroz’s videos are superb.xxoo
All Nora can focus on is the food when it’s there and she could care less if that baby lives to me. She’s too busy trying to see if she can hijack food from one of the lower ranking ones too

Nursing baby stimulates oxytocin release in the mom and contracts the uterus after delivery. Suck baby suck!!
It hurts when you first start nursing. The nipples have to toughen up. She doesn't have aspirin to take for the pain.

There is something I have noticed and this man teaches us not just sitting watch if you have sense and listen monkeys no all animals if they feel that there's something wrong eternally with those animals they don't feed them they don't want anything to do with them because the law of the jungle is drum roll please only the Strong survive and if there's something wrong eternally with them it will carry on and keep going and keep going with defects and that's why they reject those babies I love this man I've learned so much from him just watching for years if you watch excuse me no listen you'll learn.

I was thinking maybe her milk might not come in right away..I know nursing when not producing hurts a lot..so that might be the issue? Either that or maternal instincts are late to kick in..poor baby!
I wonder what the prognosis is for Edith with that hernia. Will it clear up on its own or will it cause complications to the detriment of her health? I couldn't find any literature on umbilical hernias in Rhesus monkeys. I just hope she will be okay. Nora's baby is obsessed with milk, it is obviously not getting enough. It is also not behaving like a normal baby, not curious about its surroundings but constantly fighting with mum for milk. Nora is definitely mentally unstable, in the previous video she overreacted when offered goodies which was unusual.

The Newly Monkey Tube site is posting videos with dead or hurt Rhesus monkeys. I hope they aren’t torturing Monkeys on Monkey Hill. I can’t tell from the video. Can anyone tell if that is Monkey hill in their new short videos
Hi, no torturing going on at Monkey hill in Hong Kong. In the past a sick individual was throwing acid on the monkeys and they have found traps in the forest but I guess those traps was meant for the boars. Hong Kong is different from for example Cambodia because it's a very wealthy city and the residents are educated. In Hong Kong it's only two persons filming the monkeys and upload video to TH-cam. AM has a great website where you can read about Monkey Hill, the troops, the babies born et cetera. The link goes to the page you can find the background and that includes the animal abuse that happend some years ago.

It looks similar Monkey Hill and is of Rhesus monkeys. I just wanted to make sure that the awful VO’s haven’t decided to move in on your monkeys and start shooting videos there. @@ArrozMarisco360 I am familiar with the locations in Cambodia. The location they are shooting these dead and mutilated monkeys seems new. I haven’t seen this location before. I am at least relieved they aren’t your monkeys.

Interesting how none of the females approach Nora to groom her or take a peek at her baby.
Nan usually grooms her when Nora has a baby. Not many monkeys dare to approach an alpha while she has a baby. It's the same with Bossy. Only a few of her daughter's can groom her while she's having a new born.

Nora treats them bad the first few weeks AND after she weans then she cuts them off early and so early that they don't make it to one.

The mother monkey is doing everything but shoving it in that stupid baby monkeys mouth. At least human babies have the instincts to root and find it. The baby monkey had plenty of chances to nurse. It’s just not smart enough.
I hope this one makes it but unfortunately with what would seem to be only mere minutes a day to nurse doesn’t seem likely. I wonder if she realizes she’s killing her offspring.
