Wonderful video, I saved a little dog from the coyotes out in Hayfork Ca. I don't know how he got out there our cabin was 10 miles from town, The little guy hid in a thicket and the coyotes couldn't reach him and he howled, that's how we knew he was there. He looked a lot like Punkin, He has a great home now. Thanks for the adventure what a beautiful area. : )

..that really did look like a lovely spot. I grew up in an area with lots of coyotes...they are just trying to survive with what God equipped them with. They have a place in nature. Nice shots of them.
Wow those coyotes were close for you to be able to zoom up so clearly. Love your easy going pace and what a dream site. I have to admit it was a bit time warpy in feel for me because I watched Dave's video before yours so I knew where you were going to park before you did. 15 YEARS ago I embraced my perfect child..... a black and caramel colored Chihuahua .... she still plays like a PUPPY!

What a lovely spot! So happy you guys got to hang there awhile. I love Punkin. Glad the coyotes were on the other bank. Yep, larger rigs are nice but they def have their camping limitations. Everything is a trade off. Some days I miss my van. HugZ to you! Hope I get to see you soon. I'm here! :))

You are my favorite couple on TH-cam. I watch a lot of videos. Love your new addition to your family. Punkin has a good home. Just a note. I have owned Class A, Class C (four), tent trailers (2), trailer. My favorite RV was the truck/camper because you can take them most every place. I miss camping. My husband and I loved to camp in places out of the way.

According to Dan Flores' COYOTE AMERICA, there is a coyote within a mile of everyone in the Americas. We can learn lots from them about survival. Nice hunting-for-a-site video. I'm glad you had a relaxing time together. Stay safe.

Hi Scott and Teri. I have not been able to watch you for ages. Congrats on your new fur baby. So, we are planning to leave the islands and move to Buckeye AZ (or somewhere is the west valley) in the fall of 2022. Hope to get to meet you all in person someday!

I'll work on it, Patricia. That was funny because we were watching Dave with the binoculars, he had invited him to join us so we knew he was coming, but I told him he couldn't get to us going that way. Men, they never listen especially when it comes to direction,🤣
We camped/snowbirded at senators wash for about 7 yrs before buying a mobile home on a lot in the foothills 5 yrs ago. We still drive out there periodically just to look and have toyed with buying a permit and stay out there now and then just for fun. That reservoir does cycle regularly because it’s actually there for power generation. So about every two weeks (as I recall) it gets really low and a huge pump refills the reservoir and the cycle begins again. If you drive past the check in station and across the dam there’s another two weeks in/out camping place. There are also several pay-with-quarters shower facilities down there. I think it’s called Squaw Lake.

We have a coyote or 2 that roam our street. Neighbors have seen them before dark when they walk their dogs. We have a Chihuahua that's about 6 lbs. I think she's long and skinny and wondered if she is mixed. Vet thinks not, but we rescued her last year. She needed heartworm treatments so we did that and she is good now. Loves my hubby to death. Is constantly in his lap, or mine if he isn't home. She does sit in my lap when we travel but tries really hard to make it to his lap. LOL She has that same vest Punkin has. We like it just having velcro and not bulky buckles. I just found a plaid coat that is made the same way and has a slit on the back to clip her leash to from the vest. She loves to be under a blanket. Happy Travels! HUGS~Donna
