Coming from a different athletic background, I found pull ups for strength in lats help with controlling shoulders, just learning how to control and engage those muscles. Great teaching style, always amazed by how your exercises help understand
You're such a good teacher. Well done Steve on filming her back 👏 You look so great Salty, your skin is so beautiful, glad you put your studs in your cheeks. Much ❤to Prince Bennie :))
I always had a very hard time with this when I started learning. Because of my cane my right shoulder is a little bit stronger and tighter than the left one. When I would raise my hands up into fifth for example my left side looked good and my right side by shoulder was up to my ear because it was just so tight I couldn’t really control it anymore….. lots of lots of practice to correct that and even still it happens but I know when it happens most of the time. One of the best cues I was ever given was that my elbows shouldn’t be going further back then the side seam of my leotard. When I was first learning how to not arch my back and use my arms at the same time that one was very helpful. Of course that doesn’t work all the time but I still come back to it whenever I’m in a standard kind of position and I can feel my back starting to arch which is very common because I’m a noodle. A STRONG NOODLE.
You are amazing teacher
