I just picked one of these up. It's great elegant simplicity. It doesn't stand out upon glance, but stands out under scrutiny. Love the carbon black nice glossy deep black dial. I have to admit I do with the 38mm also had a date option, I think if it had been available, I would have gone with that. But this thing is great and that hardness coating is, which at first I didn't think much of is feature I now wish more watches had.
Agreed and some different colours- the sterling silver or the slate grey ( nice) plus the new clasp & I'm in like flynn & willing to be robbed...er,.pay the import taxes.
I love my Traska. I mistakenly thru my Venturer GMT into the washing machine. Hasn’t missed a beat. The things is just rock solid. Still looks good as new and is running within ten seconds a day versus my two Seiko alpinists that are running +60 seconds a day and -45 seconds a day.
Hands are terribly finished like on every single Traska I've seen, you can see a lot of smudges and imperfections in your video even without a macro shot.
Great OP alternative and daily driver with the micro adjust and hardness coating

Beautiful piece I hope they release the carbon black in the 36mm variant as well
I'll second that!
The 36 will get it in black this august!
Absolute killer watch for the money.
I picked one up in 34 and love it. Would be nice if the smaller versions had the same quick adjust clasp

If I didn't have several of this basic style this would be on my list....and drilled lugs too!😍
Beautiful piece
Wow nice! Traska made it's own SARB Commuter. No one neeeeds another watch... 🤔
It’s a beauty. Reminds me of my SARB. Terrific value. A real wow for the price. Thanks Rob.
I really love the commuter but my one complaint is I don’t like the brushed bezel. I wish they would offer an option with a polished bezel.
Its a great looking watch but the bracelet sounds really clanky...
Have two, they’re super good quality.
Bracelet is rock solid.
This just may be my next purchase. Do you have a discount code fo this one?
I don't believe Traska does coupons/discounts
No discounts from Traska. They know what they're selling and its worth every penny.
Does it have a single or double anti-reflective coating on the sapphire watch case?
the adjustable clasp is exactly same as san martin, looks like they source from same factory, lol
It's actually slightly different. SMs feels slightly more substantial
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Too many micro brands are over engineering their clasps.
A 3,6,9 dial or a date complication would be the perfect touch to give to this watch to be less boring.
They have a 3/6/9 dial with their Summiteer model.
No, it would completely ruin the watch. It is perfect as it is.
It's not a field watch.

Even their website macro photos show some rough edges on the hands. All that value had to come up short somewhere I guess.
I never noticed this but the macro shots on the website are terrible. Definitely not a luxury finish
