Just ordered a 34mm in Aegean Blue, I have a 7” wrist as well so this video was very helpful/reassuring, thank you. Like you, I’ve previously boxed myself in with a 38-41 arbitrary range, but I’m ready to move past that. I’m very excited
@@YingDat nope, just the 5 micro adjust, which has not been an issue. I love the watch and I feel like it wears the same as a 36, gotta say I’m a pretty big fan of
@@brianyparraguirre6977 ah okay thank you that’s such a shame I really want the 34 traska so bad but I feel like if wait long enough they will update it and come out with a glide lock system for it 😂
i bought the same model just a couple weeks back! had to pay another 130€ on top for the post/customs to austria, but i really love it, 100% worth it. I have really small wrists, so those 34mm are perfect for me. Even though i cant relate to the vintage vibe that it has on your wrist, since it looks on me like a regular 38-40mm on most other people. But even then, i think the hand/indices proportions look even better on the 34 one compared to 36 and 38. Its really unfortunate that its such an overlooked size for most (micro)brands in unisex/mens versions, since it even looks amazing on your larger wrist aswell! Nice to see/ hear another perspective on it, since there really isnt much media coverage on this one. Cheers!
No watch is "too small" if it looks great enough, plus, smaller cases are vintage and classy. Something that many men fail to consider is that visually a comparatively small watch makes his arm looks proportionally bigger.
I really want a commuter 36 or 34, but none of the dial colors really appeal to me enough. I missed out on the meteorite dial 36, which I did think looked quite cool, but I’d be satisfied with a glossy black or a matte black dial. Bummer they only offer that in the 38mm because I’m specifically looking for a smaller watch than that, and 34-36mm is likely going to be the range I choose from for my next purchase. I’ll keep browsing. Nice video! I agree, 34mm is a classic size and I really wish more brands were paying attention to slim, small watches.
Sadly, in an email Traska MD (Jon?) said that they will not be making anymore 34mm Commuters. Also, the quick adjust cannot fit the 34mm bracelet. It looks like not many of us chaps want 34mm watches ; the latest Longines conquest 2023 is now 38mm, but the 34mm looks too feminine ( ahem ( exceptin black). I was/ am interested in this piece, but non US so return is..& the Miyota- is it loud/ felt on wrist? I got a CW63 36mm ( ah , the quick adjust..), old seio 5s & may get the new Seiko snxs - when (?( better colours available. Cheers. ( too long?)
Proportions matter. My 36mm Explorer is basically a 35mm and the bracelet has an aggressive taper. Taken together, it’s a great look and feel. The Traska seems to have the same thing going on. I’m surprised your wrist is 7” because this looks great. I would’ve imagined it to look smaller.
Wow.... Thanks for the review.. I heard it wears like a 35mm which for my skinny wirst is perfect. BUT I am afraid,.I have 36mm watches that I invested a lot in.. money and time to get them, iincludinga traska artic white 36mm (discontinued) that If I get a 34mm version I wont wear the rest. Ion the other side, better to get it now because as far as I read, they wont make this version again after selling out. What do you think?.. I mean you have a Rolex, how much the new size has impacted you?
34mm is a great size, for people who were around in the 80s and 90s, this is a very common size. Not because of fine watches, but because the classic Swatches were 34mm, many of us have had many Swatches.

Do you prefer the 34mm or 38mm traska dial?
They don't have it in their online store.
Apparently discontinued

Looks wonderful. I have a 7.5 and use a 36 Commuter white

It’s not loud at all - it’s a subtle weight (given its smaller size).
I love the watch, I wouldn’t overthink your purchase! Get one!
Thanks for the video, Shawny
Looks fantastic!

This with date please! It is hard to find a decent 34mm watch with date that looks decent and at a reasonable price.

Traska please keep this 34mm size an bring the woodland dial with orange that would be the perfect watch for me heck bring even more colors!!!
Seems they don't offer those anymore. 34's that is.
34mm is simply too small for me. I hope Traska makes this watch in a 38. The dial color is beautiful.
Commuter is available in 34, 36 and 38 mm since recently. You might want to check out their website
