@@Fit2Box took over you then lol 😂 would you purchase the full body bob for a 7 year old? I don’t really want to buy the small one and have to upgrade it’s for MMA so I was thinking it’s good for the kicking practice too?
Personally, while I really like the century bob XL, I really wish the head didn't flop around. It would be great if there was a switch in the back that let it be rigid if people wanted. Everything else about it is awesome.
We have 4 bobs at our gym the 2 are softer 2 are rigid to punch They have different bases As far as I can see the rigid ones have a more rounded base Allowing them to more round a bit more The ones with the same flatter bases in this video are softer to punch
I quit LOL obviously it is a dummy and is not going to be exactly like punching a human but it is a very good target in the absence of a human sparring partner you will have also noticed BoB has no arms or legs so not an exact replica of a human to punch 🤣
Another great review. I've always considered putting on a new set of Winning headgear (FG-2900) on these and pummel away at it just to see how durable the headgear is lol. But that would be a waste of $...
Id say if you have someone willing to lace up your gloves when you're in the gym go for lace up in my opinion there more comfortable but if you're going for ease of use velcro is the way to go as you can do it on your own!
The head looks pretty bendy, what's the wear and tear like on that? It looks like after enough use you'd be able to punch the head clean off after a while of hard use
I'm almost about to buy a regular bob, I trust your reviews as I've bought many of your reviewed products, it's for my house and its not cheap 420 euro, is it worth it? And would you recommend? Thanks very much 👍
@@Fit2Box thank you very much for your reply, I'm gonna buy one first thing tomorrow of the century website. Thanks very much again, keep up the great work 👍
@@grudeman enjoy I treat mine as great target Due to the head eyes mouth nose Solar plexus Liver I don’t use it for massive shots I use them for combination punches and precision Better with sand in as with water they can move around Unless you have enough room to move around the Bob if it does move👊🏼👍🏼
This would make an awesome precision strike target practicing with my bokken+Suburito. My only concern is how tough is it? I’ve torn up 2 heavy archery targets but that’s hitting them literally hundreds of times per session hitting as hard and fast as I can. They did last awhile but then again these targets are made for serious abuse so? This I wouldn’t be using for strength training but more precision striking but still I hit very fast and hard. For $400 I wouldn’t be happy if I tore his head off.
Hi mate, what have you filled him with? I have just bought a bob and want to fill it with water, because it’s quicker to fill and empty then sand. Whats your thoughts?
Si Mouse we have two at my gym one filled with water one with sand The one with water just moves around a bit more as it’s not as heavy if you need it stay more in one place go sand if it’s ok for it to move around the floor a bit go water👊🏼👍🏼
Fit2Box thanks for the advice. I have filled him up with water today just to try. Its easier to empty the water if it doesn’t meet my needs. Because i’m using it outside its not too bad. I could imagine if it was in a gym or shiny floor it would slide a lot more. Thanks for the advice ;)
ichimarnold these had water in the base but if you put sand in the base they are more stable We have two of these now in our gym and they are class they are used all of the time by kids to super heavy weight adults Great bit of kit I myself an 6,4 and 16 stones so even though it looks like I was barely hitting it 😆there is power to the shots😎👊🏼👍🏼

true. so in essence their more for practising placing shots and getting the feel of how a shot lads, rather than using it as a secondary heavy bag, right?....its more of a technique bag?.
Thanks for showing it with the kids height, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you

Yea but when people get punched in the face they’re head flops back so it’s realistic

In some ways I agree with you. However, the worry I have is that if we kicked the head as hard as we do, the bag would tip over much more easily.
I have this exact problem when I’m practicing: i think the head is just weak.
The little dude was the best part for some reason. Go little dude!
That little dude is now 15 and 6,3 👊🏼👍🏼

What’s it like for full power heavy shots?
Better to the body than head
Do you know if the body rip bob is any good
Do you prefer the Bob or the Spar Bar? In general

You can land heavier shots but I normally use medium power and concentrate on accuracy and combinations
Heavy bag for massive power rounds
