What Father Glenn Sudano is saying is that Satan is Not opposite in terms of equality of power. Satan is not equally as powerful as God. Demons are merely creatures and should not be thought of as God-like. God is infinitely greater than any creature, even the greatest of angels. Angels are far superior in intelligence and power to us, so we should be vigilant and aware of demons' cunning and attempts to make us fall, but they are effectively nothing compared to God, and they cannot do anything God does not permit.

Demons are the angels that fell following Satan, who is their leader (according to tradition, 1/3 of the angels followed him). All demons are likewise just creatures. Every creature is infinitely inferior to the Creator, thus God is infinitely more powerful than Satan and the demons. St. Michael (another creature) even overpowered Satan and cast him out of heaven. It is an error to make Satan into an “evil god” as if he is the “opposite” of God, yet equally powerful. The book of Job shows Satan has no power that God doesn’t allow him to have.

😂 exactly,people who literally cant live without their sin,because they are so brainwashed of civilisation that even if they belive all comes from demons they will not change their life or doing exorcism,going church whatever,because after that the life will be boring omg . Also not all demons are invisible or do creepy stuff to get rid of them. The other group of people are some mediums or people who got some strange ability ,usually after some accident and they enjoy it and dont think about their future life because.
He means it litterly, trust me I know. Imagine knowing for a fact God exist but still finding faith hard. Demons are as real as you and I. They're perverted and sadistic.
I met this priest and had about 2-3 hours of talk with him at his house. He said the same thing to me and then did a deliverance prayer over me. Then we went to his mini chapel and prayed with other people. He is a great man and helped me a lot. His name is Father Glenn Sudano. Franciscan monk.

He's exactly correct. "Movie-style" possession is seldom, if ever, what happens. Rather, it's these annoying little "whisperers" hiding in the corners, making suggestions and introducing thoughts. And tricking the owner of the proverbial house into not only allowing them to stay, but making the house ever more comfortable, more suited, for them.

I like the message about getting the Holy Spirit in. I'm scratching my head about Satan because I'm under the impression it literally means "Opposer". And because I've never heard anyone calling him the "opposite of God" but the "opposer of God".
You, also, are correct. Lucifer has spread the false definition around, however. It's HIM who has been tricking people into believing that God and "satan"are equal and opposite.
He knows he's not, of course. But his "best work" is done by tricking people into putting him equal to, or even above, God, in their own minds. "Allah" is his greatest effort to date along these lines, of course. An entire religion based upon Lucifer's mockery-filled impersonation of God.
Byt the word "Satan" actually translates to "principle enemy" or "chief opponent." It is NOT a proper name. It's a DESCRIPTIVE TERM.
Thus, when "Allah" describes America and Israel as "the great satan" and "the little satan," he's not actually being inaccurate... though, as he's so often gleefully pleased to do, he's using "truth" to promote a greater lie. America and Israel are both, undeniably, Lucifer's greatest opposition on Earth. Neither is "perfect" or necessarily especially godly, but they are the two nations which stand, more than all others combined, in the way of his plans for "showing God his mistake" by giving humanity a higher staus than the angels... including the most prideful of angels, Lucifer himself.
Lucifer's sin was pride, of course. So you cam just imagine his smug glee at having gotten the formerly most God-centric nation in history to have an entire month devoted to "pride." And worse, for that to be "pride" over rebellion against God.
An interesting fact is that the word "Satan" translates to "Enemy." his real name is out there if you do some research.
He is not opposing God. He is opposing you. Satan got no power over God to be opposing him. But he has power over you to oppose you, to make you fall into sin that turns you away from God. Which is the goal and the point of the opposition. God aids you by giving you all the gifts of powers he can give: The Church, as the ship that we sail on through life; Priests, acting in the person of Christ, hearing and healing us; the Sacraments as the means of grace; the Saints & Angels as friends who aids us with prayers and protection; Prayers of the Church, i.e. Mass, exorcicsm, Adoration, singing Psalms etc.; and the Mother of God, The Virgin Mary who is the opposite of Satan, Queen Warrior leading the Heavenly Charges against the Devil.
These are the means of grace at our disposal to fight against the Opposer.

And Lucifer and his legions are absolutely standing against God and against God's will.
That even in this they are still "part of God's plan" does not negate their intention. It only means that God is (recognizedly) the ultimate victor, and that their goal is not "deposing God," but rather "causing God's plan to fail" (at least partially). The more human souls they can deny to God, the more "successful" they see themselves as being.
The are absolutely in oppsition to God, but in particular in regards to God's plan involving us.
So you're not "wrong" but neither was the person you were trying to "correct."
There is a lot of truth here. Satan is not God's opposite. And yes, you must cleanse your life, repent of your sins and allow Christ to take over. This is the only path to eternal life with Him, and also to ensure the demons do not return 7 times worse.

This is a excellent way of thinking about it. A hole in your boat will sink you. It's not about bailing out water faster It's about plugging the Hole. Then the water can be bailed out. If Satan is not opposite of God, then he is certainly in opposition to God. His pride and ego were his undoing. I don't fully agree with him though, the exterminator won't ignore the "squirrels" and address how they got in, but rather, most would remove the squirrels, and ignore the holes, knowing they would get a call back.
He never said "ignore the holes." He simply said that it's more effective to make the home inhospitable to the squirrels... so that it's uncomfortable for them to enter, and torture for them to stay... rather than continually "patching holes." Yes, you still patch the holes. But if the home is still inviting to the vermin, they'll just keep finding, or creating, new ways inside.
I had a problem with mice in an apartment I once lived in. Traps could kill them, but there were always more. Patching holes worked, briefly, but they always came back in.
My solution was to put in ultrasonic pest repellers. Inaudible to humans (and I had no pets at the time), they were painful to the mice. The mice fled pretty quickly and I never saw another. (Interestingly, it also got rid of my ongoing spider problem, too.)
That's what having the Holy Spirit in you does. It makes being inside if you, or even nearby you, painfully unpleasant to the fallen.
You still need to patch the holes, of course.
And if the demons really, really want to get at you, they can still influence, taint, or tempt you. Or try to, anyway.
Remember, Lucifer was allowed to tempt and harass Job. No doubt, doing so was torturous for Lucifer.
Lucifer even was able to attempt to tempt Jesus... which was, no doubt, excruciatingly painful for him, even being around Jesus. That's "dedication," I suppose!
Christians are not "immune to demonic attacks." But we are DEFENDED in ways others are not. And we have the "big guns" available to us in that conflict that no one else has.
But the attacks continue, nevertheless. Like sappers infiltrating a far superior enemy's base to perform sabotage, they see it as worth the effort... especially if they succeed in destroying one of us.
And, one last point... yes, of course they can accomplish that. One of their best tricks in that approach has been spreading the lie that "once saved, you can never lose your salvation." That no matter what you do, or how your heart changes, once you're "in," you can never be lost.
Devils promote that line extraordinarily strongly in the church. It's one of those "holes" the squirrels use to gain greater access to every "house." The belief that once the "squirrels" are gone, they can never get back in, so there's no need to remain vigilant.
That’s why the exorcist isn’t the person loosing when the “exorcisms go wrong”. It’s not the exorcism but people who believe their captors instead of emissary of freedom.
