The religion I was taught could not fill the intense rage and emptiness of my heart. It took a few evangelicals Christians to share the Bible with me, and that got me in a real living relationship with the Lord. My family, and relatives DON’T want me to talk about Jesus with them. Anything that has to do with the Bible - God’s Word - is shunned, yet they’ll go at the Catholic Church for infant baptisms, weddings and funerals... To summarize, where I come from, the Catholic Churches are empty or dying.... For your comment about “only a Catholic priest” can cast out demons, that is totally false. 1- Jesus gave the authority of casting out demons to All His disciples. It is part of the Great Commission. 2- I had the opportunity to cast out demons myself, in the name and authority of the living Christ, and church history is filled with stories of Christians casting out demons throughout the ages. Michel Emond.... You lack so much knowledge of the Roman Catholic Church's teachings by yr comment . The Bible is a Roman Catholic Sacred WORD OF GOD. We Roman Catholics gave the BIBLE to humanity. There were NO Protestant etc in Jerusalem or in Rome when Jesus arose from the dead. The other religions were all man-made.
This man is absolutely right. When one is in, say, something like a drunken state, one is in a weakened spiritual state, as well as mental and physical. If you fool around with occult practices, or mess with things like ouija boards, mock seances etc-even if just for a laugh, you are more than likely going to open a door which is very difficult to close. Anything can come through. Do not be fooled by what you see and hear on television and in film. The reality is much more frightening. Those who tackle such issues are, or should be, trained to do so. The psychological distress that you put yourself through can also be as damaging and dangerous. I conduct experimental EVP sessions, purely from a scientific and research point of view. Very interesting. It is true, determining if what we are dealing with is demonic or psychological can be difficult. I have seen times when a person can be experiencing the psychological effect of a lie or temptation that was seeded by a spirit even when the underlying spirit itself may no longer be present. I have found that praying and asking God for wisdom before addressing the situation has given great success. He says “if any lack wisdom let him ask of God who give without reproach.” When doing this first I have often had the root come to mind immediately. Sometimes it comes in the form of a scripture verse like those dealing with an unclean spirit or those with a spirit that convulses. Other times I see in my mind an image of the person looking at a computer and I know that they are looking at pornography. Each answer is clearest when I have taken the steps to 1. Clear my mind and be self controlled so that I can pray and 2. Ask God for wisdom trusting that he will answer. This has been replicable nearly one hundred times over the past 5 years. I hope this helps others! Above all love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Entrust yourself to him, it is Jesus Christ who is the deliverer and it is by His authority that the demons obey. Be blessed.

Why would someone who was abused as a child be more susceptible to possession than the person who actually committed the abuse? Because of “negative emotions”? What’s more negative than the abuse of a child? Why does the victim have to be victimized again, and the perpetrator gets to live a “normal” life?
As an abused child, its easy to become an abuser because you were shown how to do that and it twists your mind til you want power over someone just like someone had power over you. Its a curse that rolls down generationally, if you dont break the cycle. Victims often become abusers. One way out is forgiveness and reclaiming your sense of bodily autonomy. As an adult woman, if a drunk man at a holiday party tries to accost me, i over react with rage, but its mentally healthier than allowing someone to take my bodily autonomy away again. Never again. But i have forgiven my abusers.
