  • I really like the Team TGYR bundle. I have it for like 10 days and still think the TYGR 300 R headphones are really good. It is an incredible value for the money. Really.
However I have decided to get something a bit better for the audio and bought the beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro for that.
    More info here: www.beyerdynam...
I need now a good DAC/AMP to go with them...

Yes but only for the pads. I remember someone asked me how to get a balanced DT1990 Pro and I tried to explain there was a mod to get that.

I would say yes. I have chosen the dt 1990 pro to get a more detailed sound with a good neutral sound (close to no coloration).
The built quality is good, it is well made even if I find surprising to hear some cracking noises on the hinge.
The clamping force is a bit too strong and I do not think you can wear it for too long. At least I don't.
I listen mostly to jazz, blues and classical with the dt 1990 pro and I like the details, the imaging and sound staging with it.
However it can generate some fatigue but I guess it is linked to the kind of music you are listening to.
      What I use: Qobuz -> Audirvana -> RME ADI-2 DAC -> dt 1990 pro.
I also chose the RME ADI-2 DAC for the same reasons: get a more detailed sound & as neutral as possible (in my budget).

@@cernus2279 I'm just starting my audiophile journey and getting the same headset . I currently have a wireless steel series arctis 7 . Can you recommend me a DAC amp under 150$ I'm not sure whether I should buy the fiio k5 pro or not

@@abdulbais1459 Hi there! Happy New Year :)
I think the journey is the most interesting part. If you are interested in acquiring a DAC, you can have a look at the top budget DAC selection made by some "experts" on the domain. I am not one (unfortunately).
However I can still tell you the FiiO K5 pro seems to be a quite decent choice.
You could have a look at the iFi Zen DAC (British company). It seems this is a pretty good one around your budget. To improve the sound quality you can add later the power supply named "iFi Audio iPower 5V".
If you prefer to stick to the wireless mode, the iFi Zen Blue might be the one for you.
Another possibility is to check the AudioQuest DragonFly Red USB DAC but for corded heaphones. Or maybe the Audioengine B1 Bluetooth. It is a good one as well.
I also heard the Chinese company Topping was making pretty good stuff too.
Check what you like, which type of sound, if you look for something more neutral or not, if a colored sound is ok for you and if you plan to change your headphone later.
Depending on the DAC you will have, check if it will be able to drive your headphone or your future one.

@@cernus2279 thank you I'll look into all the options . I'm just getting the headset for a hobby I'm a college student and I'm either busy with studies or listening to music and want it to be a good experience 😊
