Christy you are doing so well living independently. You are very courageous moving to a city where you don’t know anyone and so far away from your mum and dad and grandparents. Keep going, you got this!!
Darling girl ... You made me laugh so much when you opened the feather duster 😂😂😂 "It's soooo soft !!!" Take your meds, it will feel so much better both because you have taken them AND because you can cross them off your list ! You do have a list don't you ? How about it then? - that's how I keep myself on track - I do a list either before I go to bed or first thing in the morning (no breakfast until its done) then its soooo satisfying to tick each thing off as I go. The first thing on my list is always Meds! It is so Heartwarming to see how well and quickly you have settled into your new home, dont you think? Just reflect on how far you have come since then 😊 Have a fab week whenever you are reading this. Love your friend Janice x
Thank you! I do have a daily to-do list but I'm not always the best at checking it off. I had therapy yesterday which was a difficult session but it seems to have kick-started me back into a better headspace so that's good. Ticking things off a to-do list is definitely a great feeling! Sometimes I put things on my list just so I can tick it off haha
You poor baby I’m sorry you have all these health problems and you have a battle to get help. Thank you for sharing! Here in the states it’s hard to get disability we have to hire a lawyer!
Thank you! I'm glad I at least don't have to hire a lawyer. The system is a pain but at least I don't have to pay thousands just to get help to get government support!
Bless you Christy but don't take it personally, I am sure everyone has to jump through hoops to get assistance from the govt. I know that NDIS in particular has suffered a lot of rorting and Bill Shorten is cracking down on wastage so they are probably making doubly sure those applying for assistance actually deserve it, just do what they ask of you and you will have a win in the end.
Oh Christy, NDIS are renowned to make the process difficult. It really sucks! Good to see that a chat with Athena, your mom and seeing the puppies made you feel better May I ask why you moved to Canberra and didn’t stay closer to your parents? Hang in there sweet girl, keep the vlogs coming 🥰
100% agree with you - the system shouldn't be this complicated. I hope you get the help you need 💛
Thank you! I'm still waiting at the moment which is frustrating but hopefully it'll get sorted soon.
I'm sorry you are having trouble right now but it's great you're mum and sister are right there to help you.
I really am very lucky to have such a supportive family 🥰

Thank you! I've definitely settled in. Canberra is more home to me than Wollongong is now.
It sucks how complicated the system is. It's good that Athena is able to help you.
It really does! And yeah, Thee is great!
Mums are good at calming us down. Our system is so hard sometimes.
They are! And the beautiful boys certainly helped!

That certainly was a week of ups and downs.
It was! Missing you and the puppas

Thank you! I'm still waiting at the moment but I'll be getting the last bit of evidence I need next week so hopefully it won't be much longer.

I remember a few years ago she was thinking of going to to the Uni there but then the pandemic hit.
Mostly because Canberra was more affordable. Wollongong is a very expensive city to live in. I also love to infrastructure in Canberra.
Yeah, I'm going to apply to do my masters next year but I needed a bit of a break from studying after four years!
Pantaloons. Haaaaaa haaaa
I'm glad someone else appreciated my sense of humour. My mother always thinks I'm weird (which, like, I am but that's besides the point :P )
