- I'm starting to settle into my new house but it's not without hiccups. Disability makes various aspects of my life difficult but I'm managing the best I can.

Hi! I'm Christy, a 22-year-old autistic person living in ACT with various physical and mental disabilities. I'm following in my mum's footsteps by continuing to vlog now that I'm on my own. I enjoy reading and writing fanfiction, playing video games, and sharing my special interests and hyperfixations!
I forgot to add a bit about why this vlog is so late! Basically, one of my most disabling ADHD symptoms is difficulties with task initiation. As I'm so new to vlogging/editing, sometimes I struggle to start filming or, more so, editing. So I'm going to try and get into a routine of editing a little bit every day so that this doesn't happen again.
Loved this as a way to share your days. Your nails were/are looking nice. It was like a trip back in time watching this vlog 🙂. That lawnmower is so cute. I never even knew they exist. Good job under the stairs - it looks great.
Thanks mama!
Loving your vlogs x
I'm glad!
Great vlog 😊
Thank you!! 😊
great vlog, thanks for sharing. Hope you're having a great weekend.
Thank you! You too!
Enjoying your vlogs, like your new unit also.
Thanks!
I had the scope down my throat I had a wonderful doctor who put me completely out because I started to panic, some of my family members struggle with textures in their food!
I'll have to remember to find out if that's an option for me if I need to get one! Thank you for sharing
Doing a great job Christy ⭐️
Thank you! I'm trying
Doing amazing!
Thank you!
Just wanted to add that moving out of home and finding a job is hard and overwhelming. Throw in your health issues and it’s a lot. Just take a day at a time and celebrate even the small wins. Great Thee is helping you out.
That's what I'm trying to do
I know exactly what you mean about not knowing what you want to eat, so you don't eat. I do that all the time too. It is frustrating as it isn't good for your tummy to be empty all the time (I also have reflux). I hope you have a support worker by now to help you with your meals.
It is so frustrating about the jobs too - I am sure you will find something though. ❤
Had my first session with a new support worker yesterday and we're gonna be meeting twice a week for meal prep and cleaning :D
@@ChristyWithnall Yay, that is brilliant! :)
My husband has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia in his heart. Pain but nothing wrong.....
I hope he finds a way to manage the pain
I have horrible acid reflux. Chocolate, mint, coffee and alcohol are the main triggers but of course there are lots more so you have to find your tiggers but the doctor said those are the main triggers. You are doing great on your own.
Thank you! I've yet to find a pattern in what activates my reflux yet but I'll keep that in mind :)
Your hair looks pretty today 😊
Thank you!
Subscribed, good luck on your TH-cam journey! Also, we have the same Apple Watch face :)
Yay thank you haha! I love the LGBT watch faces Apple provides :D
What pen are those? Love the colours.
They're called Sakura Gelly Roll Gel Pens! I really like them. My only gripe is that they take a bit of time to dry (because they're gel pens) so you can't instantly turn the page and keep going without getting ink on the opposite page.
How are you finding living on your own?
Keep the vlogs coming, enjoy watching
Do you still have your boyfriend?
Hope you find a job soon
Yes tick tock makes me feel like crap too. I thought that was just me.....
No I think it's actually pretty common! It's designed to suck you in and make you forget how much time is passing.
Christy that sound positive about your diet. I hate to say this but from what I have seen over the years your diet is quite poor, being mainly cheese and bread. I am sure if you can start eating a healthy diet many tummy issues and other health issues would disappear or at the very least improve. Start slowly just introduce one thing at a time, eggs are fabulous little protein shots, I just feel you need some good protein and fruit and veg. Don't even bring chocolate into the flat ;-)
Certainly easier said than done but thank you for your advice! My poor diet has been a thing for so long that it's very ingrained in me now, to the point that I have a formally diagnosed eating disorder, so any changes will take a lot of energy that I don't really have right now. And while I know chocolate isn't good for me, I still believe it's better than eating nothing at all which is the alternative if I don't have the energy to make anything proper.
It's just the mother in me worrying about you Christy BUT at this stage I think you might be better to eat nothing than eat chocolate. Do you know what is causing you to have no energy, to not even be able to heat up a tin of soup?? @@ChristyWithnall
Yes a shower and clea hair makes me feel so much better too
The gluten in the bread and pasta and chocolate cause reflux to flare. Try to cut way back on those and you will see a difference. I know it is difficult to make changes but you can do it. You can work with a therapist and dietician to advise you.
