Thanks for the video. If I am the only one using SSH, is there any reason to use the public/private key instead of the password?
Most of us find having key based login more secured and also recommend compared to password based. Although you will require to provide password depending on the hosting provider’s requirements.
Incase of AWS, we are good with only the pem file.

Hi Fox, Thank you for the sharing! And I have a question: using Godaddy hosting, can I reboot the linux server with SSH? How to do that? I use PuTTY. And I can connect with SSH. But after I am connected, when I input "reboot", there seems to be no result. Could you offer some advice?
If you are using godaddy shared hosting those commands won’t work.

On minute 5:15, it doesn't tell me to authenticate anything. It says there's no matching key. How did you get a key?
If you are connecting to server using ssh command with ip you don’t need a key.

Hey! Is it possible to deploy nodejs Aplication on godaddy?
As long as you have the permission to install npm, node & pm2 on your server you can deploy node js application.
Regarding Godaddy shared hosting I never tried to do so, hence I’m not aware of the same. This is not recommended for production environment.

For your own instance(VPS) you will have the root access.

I’m sorry I didn’t realise you were referring to GoDaddy hosting. I was under the assumption that we were hosting on a VPS(DigitalOcean)
Platforms like GoDaddy under shared hosting does not offer root access.
@@SilverFoxA really thanks for your answer, you do know how i can active cageFS without the terminal because right now display a message saying is not activate it and apparently my php is not working for that reason and cant manage to change the php version
I haven’t worked on cageFS but based on what I see this requires root level access, you can’t handle with the permissions available as it’s used for file system virtualisation
why your php version is always loading state?
