Thank you for presenting this topic in this manner. It seems almost every artist has their own way of painting the underpainting. I really needed this! Great video! 💓
Omg giiiirl I’m learning this underpainting technique and you have no idea how helpful your video was!!!✨💗 Because I was curious about the different color for underpainting and how it will look like in the finished painting stage. Thank youuuuuuu srsly🙏
@@RapidBlindfolds Great question!! Dulling colors is helpful to make them more realistic. A lot of colors are super bright & unnatural looking out of the tube. If you love bright colors though, you don’t need to dull - it’s totally optional. I just prefer the earthier tones 😊 or if you want to get a slightly darker shade of a color, it’s helpful as well
@@hayleyhawkins though we've been painting for a long period of time the painting journey is never over.. more is to be taught and more is to be learned.. you are great ...may we embrace the great gift God gave us..KEEP IT UP....🙂
Thank you for this demo! We like the green and grey underpaintings.
Thanks for demonstrating all 4 methods. I’m new to acrylic so find this VERY useful!
Yay so glad to hear!
Great to see alternative approaches to the underpainting. Food for thought. I shall experiment tomorrow.
Let me know how it goes! 🙂

I really enjoyed this. I’m pretty sure you can use all four methods for both mediums not necessarily just one right?
