New fellowship to fund, support deep tech that can help reduce emissions in Southeast Asia

  • Researchers and deep tech start-ups can tap on fresh funding and mentorship under the new Breakthrough Energy Fellows-Southeast Asia programme. The three-year joint funding commitment will support tech developments that can reduce greenhouse gases in Southeast Asia. This marks the first Breakthrough Energy Fellows hub outside of the United States. Enterprise Singapore chairman Lee Chuan Teck shared more about the new fellowship and how it will drive climate tech innovation in Singapore and the region.

    In the second breach which was announced just this week (28 Jan), the Ministry of Health said that medical records of 14,2000 HIV positive individuals in the country had been illegally obtained in 2016 and were disclosed online recently.
