It's very pretty:-) The light play with this particular hue is fantastic! Please, keep me in the loop - I would love to see you sport this lip! instagram.com/five_fifty_five/ And please, enjoy!:-)
I have Hepburn Honey as well as Penelope Pink. I def need a lipliner with both. Im just curious how different Nude Kate is from the other two I already have. You look beautiful as usual. Thanks for the video 😘
Hi Hun:-) Thanks so much for your kind words - you are very beautiful as well!:-) Though, the Nude Kate shade is a pretty one it can be tricky due to it washing out Olive/Neutral skin tones. It's a great 1960's pale lip hue alongside a dramatic eye. But I find myself mixing it with warmer tones (ex: warmer browns or pinks) or even a coral tone (not too bright) lip liner. I think you should go (like me) the warm pink or peachy coral route with your lip liner. Here's Venus Pink (peachy coral) www.sephora.com/product/lip-cheat-lip-liner-P433516?skuId=2116523&icid2=products%20grid:p433516:product or the classic Pillow Talk (warm pink nude) www.sephora.com/product/lip-cheat-lip-liner-P433516?skuId=2116515&icid2=products%20grid:p433516:product The Nude Kate Lip Cheat Lip Liner is too beige nude for Hepburn Honey and Penelope Pink, you want the undertones to stand out on your pout vs washing you out. Great Question! Let me know if you have anymore ;-)
I feel like nudes like these on medium/tan skin tones look gorgeous when paired with a heavy smoky eye. Especially since this one is so creamy with just the right amount of shine. That way, the lip doesn't steal the attention from the eyes. Think bold lip + simple eye / nude lip, smoky eye! :) You're gorgeous by the way!
Yasmine, you are a BABE! Thank you so much for your kind words -made my day!:-) I absolutely agree with you on the great formulation and hue. I did try this lip with a very dramatic smoky eye and though it looked a bit better. Unfortunately, the neutral beige undertone of Nude Kate washed me out a bit too much. I was super bummed because it's so pretty:-( Right now, I am working on my Penelope Pink edit. It's an amazing hue with the same texture+formulation. It's a bit of a warmer/pink when compared to the very beautiful Nude Kate. Have you tried Penelope Pink?
@@FiveFiftyFive You're welcome! I found Penelope Pink to be a little cool toned for my olive skin tone. Personally, warm tones suit me best. I love Hepburn Honey as a nude- it has a medium color depth with a gorgeous warm honey undertone. I'm also looking forward to try Stoned Rose from the collection which looks like the most beautiful warm toned pink for med/tan/olive skin tones. I think those 2 would look so good on you as well!
@@yasmine4026 Hi Beautiful! I absolutely love your points on warmth and coolness when it comes to complimentary colors for an individual's lip color+ skin-tone:-) Now you have me adding a couple of future lip hues to try out! Stoned Rose and Hepburn Honey are lipsticks that I have been curious about. You are wonderfully dangerous;-)
LOL! I know they are so pricey! I give them away to friends and family, or I return them if the formula is terrible. I refuse to waste the mula;-) I'm just so happy that I my videos are helpful in any capacity:-) Are you guys sheltering in place down under?;-)
It looks good. Very simple, but still pretty. I think I might get it.
