@@MsLadyLilian it’s like a tinted lip balm, but much better. It’s very hydrating. I use lip liner with it, and it last s several hours. Unless of course I eat. I can layer it over other lips sticks. It’s very neutral. I have no regrets. When I run out, I will repurchase it.

I agree, I always have trouble finding the prefect nude lipstick for me, I'm light olive tone leaning more on the cooler side. My natural lips are pale with a blueish pink tone most of these are too warm for me the warmer tones aren't flattering on my skin they bring out the red in my face since I have rosacea. I normally wear a mauve color.

In that case if the product is amazing and doesn’t work for you, maybe it’s just you….Andrea shows how to MAKE IT WORK FOR US. Me too, they always look orange on me, but when I add a little Fenty Fussy Heat lip gloss on top it adds the perfect amount of pink shine and dimension to any nude lip

I love Face Stockholm and have loved that line for 30 YEARS! I wear Faded Rose as a topper over dark or bright liners or colors to mute them down and make them nuder/pinker. I have fair cool toned skin & pale lips, and Face works really well for me.

That is a very interesting tip (using lip pencil and gloss). I don't even have any "nude" lipsticks, but I always just took one look and said "no", without trying to make it work by using lip pencil etc.
I have LE velvet fawn and I have medium tan south asian skin tone, and I can confirm it is a lovely pinky beige nude on such skintones without washing out. It's a really pretty nude. It doesn't leave cool or warm but right in middle.
My medium skin tone with cool under tones loves Nars boukhara, Dior forever 100 and Wedding belles from CT. And the lipliners iconic nude (CT), Mac oak and plum give the perfect frame. Thank you Andrea teaching me all this knowledge 🥰☺️✨

In this video you said that you don’t like that much the lip liners that are "not" round, and I have to say that, in the past, I was thinking the same. But after meeting some women with disabilities, I understand now why it's not "round" and why I shouldn't be against it. The products like lipsticks, lip-liners, eye-pencils, that are not round are crucial for people with disabilities. A woman on wheelchair, she also would like to look good and apply make-up, she wants to be a part of a bigger picture, participating in a beauty world, but when a round liner or lipstick slips from her desk, it will lie there, until someone-else come and grab it from the floor, in many cases it can rest there forever… So sometimes it is just the question of "design", and sometimes the beauty companies think of people with disabilities and want them to be able to participate in a world of beauty. So the cosmetics like Sigma infinity lipstick, or Fenty beauty Stix or Fenty gloss bombs are really appreciated by the people with disabilities. A lot of people worry about: whether the product is vegan, or cruelty-free, but do they think... whether the product is also people with disabilities friendly? So... using cosmetics that don’t roll off, for some of us, is sometimes super important :) All the best for you :) :*
This was wonderful! I've realised the only nudes that really work for me are actually coral (due to my skin colour being a bit more reddish), but you do make me want to experiment with the nudes in my collection and try to pair them with lipliners for a better fit. What I sometimes do is use a pinkish liner to give a shade that's flat a bit of colour. And since it's my first time commenting -- just want to see how much I love seeing a fellow Romanian do so brilliantly! And yes, the baby will sleep, eventually....

I really love the Chanel Adrienne like you. 🥰 I am a bit lighter (a NARS Deauville girl) and the nude lipsticks that fit me the best are Charlotte Tilbury Runway Royalty and the Natasha Denona My Dream Lipstick 11NB. The last one is even a dream to wear. Super hydrating and long lasting.
Love this. As I’ve gotten older, finding the right formula has changed. I don’t like matte for my lips anymore. Matte accentuates any dryness and lines. I can’t wait to try the Gucci ones you suggest. Also, I have good but mature skin. Normal to dry complexion based on the seasons. Have you tried the Chanel Creme foundation SUBLIMAGE LE TEINT? Would love to know your thoughts if this would be a good foundation and what your shade would be. I have the same skintone as you. Thank you.
Every one of those lipsticks looked pretty on you. I have more than one favorite nude lipstick. Charlotte Tilbury, Runway Royalty, Kim KW, and Liv it Up are favorites. Bobbi Brown, Luxe lipsticks in Pink Nude, Pale Mauve, Almost Bare and Rosewood are favorites. Bobbi Brown Crushed lipstick in Buff and Suzan Nude are beautiful. Hi, I really love your tutorials and when you explain how to find the perfect shades. I have fair skin tone, but my lips are quite pigmented, so I find it really hard to find a nude that suits me. Most of the nude lipsticks don’t cover the pigment of my lips, so I wore reddish lipstick for a long time. For example: 808 (caress) or 880 (flirt) from Dior. However, when I tried Pillow talk from Charlotte Tilbury (a brand that cannot be found in Romania in physical shops, but only online), I got in love with the shade. Now, I am also in love with Nabla cosmetics, which I wouldn’t have tried if it weren’t for you. I like their lipliners and Cupid’s arrow for the eyes (that I also use on lips). I am definitely going to try their lipsticks 😊. Once again, you are amazing and hope you will get some sleep sooner or later. Kisses from Romania ❤😘🥰
As a pale cool olive is such a struggle to find anything matching my skin tone 😩 Everything looks orange, peach or terracotta on me. My holy grail, and only brown lip liner that works for me, and for nude look is pupa true lips 004. I do love your videos, even though your complexion is absolutely different from mine, I always learn a lot. Thank you!)
Hi Andreaa! Great video. I hadn't worn nude lip colors for sooo many years, but have recently had a renewed interest in finding one that works for me. The ones I wore many years ago definitely don't work for me now & there's too many nude shades out there that I don't like or simply just don't flatter me. In regards to lipstick finishes, I prefer satin over matte & as far as a nude shade, I do prefer something with a bit more color (possibly more reddish or pinkish over peach or brown) that would show up as "my lips but better". Also, I would prefer neutral/warm tone over cool tone. All your selections look excellent on you, but I'd say the closest to what I think I'd like are the Lisa Eldridge Luxuriously Lucent lipsticks you demoed. Thanks for doing this video!

Hello. Even if you are tired, you look lovely, so please do not worry. The lipsticks I buy must have some pink color in them. My 2 favorites are: Kitten Mischief and Sally Soft Honey. My skin is a bit lighter than yours and my eyes are green. For a while, I used to like all shades of coral. Last winter I loved ruby red, but this summer pink nudes. Thank you, this video was interesting.
I prefer the tube bullet like Pat McGrath and GUCCI because those lipsticks are very soft. I have huda and UOMA which come in traditional bullet and the problem is even with gentle pressure they get pushed against the rim, is can get messy and in summer if they get warm they will break easier. I feel like I have to baby them more then my other lipsticks. The tube of PMG gives a bit more support and control to the softer bullet.

Lisa Eldridge is one of the first professional makeup artist I started following when TH-cam started. I knew she created her own product line, but I never bought anything. I will purchase Kitten Mischief.
Frankly, I do not like to wear lipstick- only lip balm - due to my age and the dryness of where I live (Colorado). With that being the case, I feel I would prefer the Gucci type of package as I feel it’s easier to keep clean and apply without a mirror. You have definitely given some new alternatives to my makeup!

Well! I wasn't so much into nude lipsticks , cause I love bold, colourfull lipsticks! This is who I am! But, because sometimes I enjoy doing very strong makeup looks on the eyes, I have to use more of a nude on my lips! And, there are a lot I love with different finishes, I will not mention them cause they are not from high-ends brands! But, I have one high-end brand lipstick, Pillow Talk from Charlotte Tilbury and I love it! It is a statement colour for me! I don't know what is doing, but even I have a simply makeup or more sophisticated, or lip liner or not, or lipgloss or not, that colour it always looks good on me! It simply, looks good! If I would manage to buy things from Sephora at some point, I will for sure, take the lip liner from Anastasia deep taupe cause it is the lip liner you talk the most, and I have the feeling that is that perfect lip liner! Yes! Contrast is everything when attempting a nude lip! I'm brunette and Light, with an olive undertone, so my best "nudes" are deeper. Even my lipliner is deeper. My go to lipliner is a color from Bare Minerals called Attitude. It's a cinnamon color that makes lighter lip colors look better on me. (It's also, unfortunately, discontinued.) And my default nude lipstick is So Nineties by Charlotte Tilbury (formerly Birkin Brown). I avoid gray nudes like all the ones from Natasha Denona. And I choose a deeper lipstick because it works better with my low coverage foundations like the Chanel Water Tint. If I go lighter I need a fuller coverage foundation like Chantecaille Future Skin. I'm over 50, so pale shades can make me look unwell. And heavy foundations enhance lines. But I agree with you totally. Lip liner is critical with nudes. I almost always use one. Also, like you I love Lisa Eldridge, but the lightest colors from her that I can wear are Muse and Affair. I like adding a dot of her glosses in the middle of my lower lip. Also love Charlotte Tilbury mattes, because they don't look or feel like most mattes. But, as you say, you like colors that work for you. As do I. And we have very different color needs. That's why nudes are so tricky for most people. It's like hair color. I look terrible as a blonde. Especially because I don't tan. Thumbs up for good insights into the nude lipstick dilemma. I always love the way you look. And I'm thrilled with your application skills. I learn a lot from you. What I would love to see, since shiny lips are back, is a show on preventing feathering. My perfect nude was the praline lip crayon from ELF which was of course discontinued. Have not found that color since. It was the perfect slighty pink neutral brown for my skin.
My all time favorite nude lip liner is by Victoria Beckham in Nude #2!! She created it just for herself and says she wears it everyday and can’t live without it. I love it more than Anastasia Deep Taupe.
The undertone thing is probably why I hate CT pillow talk. It looks absolutely horrible on me and makes my teeth look super yellow. I’ve had such a hard time even finding one person who felt the same way. So so sad.

Mine is Tom Ford’s Pink Dusk. I even wore it as my wedding lipstick. Unfortunately, I think Tom Ford has discontinued the color. This absolutely gave me options for my next nude lipstick!

until half a year ago, my make-up routine was lipstick and a little blush, and full make-up for me also meant a little more eyeshadow and mascara. today is not much different, but with better quality products, thanks to you, who try them for us and give your honest opinion. For me, more natural make-up, which emphasizes natural beauty, is the absolute best choice, and that's why I thank you for all the advice on preparatory as well as decorative cosmetics. My 'grab it out of the purse and throw some on my lips without mirror' nude lipsticks are Chantecaille Tamboti and Chanel Adriene.

Hello Andrea, I like very much your videos :) I love your beauty advices and your sense of humor. In this video you said that you don’t like that much the lip liners that are "not" round, and I have to say that, in the past, I was thinking the same. But after meeting some women with disabilities, I understand now why it's not "round" and why I shouldn't be against it. The products like lipsticks, lip-liners, eye-pencils, that are not round are crucial for people with disabilities. A woman on wheelchair, she also would like to look good and apply make-up, she wants to be a part of a bigger picture, participating in a beauty world, but when a round liner or lipstick slips from her desk, it will lie there, until someone-else come and grab it from the floor, in many cases it can rest there forever… So sometimes it is just the question of "design", and sometimes the beauty companies think of people with disabilities and want them to be able to participate in a world of beauty. So the cosmetics like Sigma infinity lipstick, or Fenty beauty Stix or Fenty gloss bombs are really appreciated by the people with disabilities. A lot of people worry about: whether the product is vegan, or cruelty-free, but do they think... whether the product is also people with disabilities friendly? So... using cosmetics that don’t roll off, for some of us, is sometimes super important :) All the best for you :) :*
This was wonderful! I've realised the only nudes that really work for me are actually coral (due to my skin colour being a bit more reddish), but you do make me want to experiment with the nudes in my collection and try to pair them with lipliners for a better fit. What I sometimes do is use a pinkish liner to give a shade that's flat a bit of colour.

Hello Andrea, my favorite nude lip stick is the classic Pillow talk that i used for my wedding. But last Xmas, i was offered the new mat from Dior in the shade 300. I just love it. A perfect nude for me, à beigy colour with à hint of pink. I love it ! ☺️😍

I really love the Chanel Adrienne like you. 🥰 I am a bit lighter (a NARS Deauville girl) and the nude lipsticks that fit me the best are Charlotte Tilbury Runway Royalty and the Natasha Denona My Dream Lipstick 11NB. The last one is even a dream to wear. Super hydrating and long lasting.

Love this. As I’ve gotten older, finding the right formula has changed. I don’t like matte for my lips anymore. Matte accentuates any dryness and lines. I can’t wait to try the Gucci ones you suggest. Also, I have good but mature skin. Normal to dry complexion based on the seasons. Have you tried the Chanel Creme foundation SUBLIMAGE LE TEINT? Would love to know your thoughts if this would be a good foundation and what your shade would be. I have the same skintone as you. Thank you.
Every one of those lipsticks looked pretty on you. I have more than one favorite nude lipstick. Charlotte Tilbury, Runway Royalty, Kim KW, and Liv it Up are favorites. Bobbi Brown, Luxe lipsticks in Pink Nude, Pale Mauve, Almost Bare and Rosewood are favorites. Bobbi Brown Crushed lipstick in Buff and Suzan Nude are beautiful. Hi, I really love your tutorials and when you explain how to find the perfect shades.
I have fair skin tone, but my lips are quite pigmented, so I find it really hard to find a nude that suits me. Most of the nude lipsticks don’t cover the pigment of my lips, so I wore reddish lipstick for a long time. For example: 808 (caress) or 880 (flirt) from Dior.
However, when I tried Pillow talk from Charlotte Tilbury (a brand that cannot be found in Romania in physical shops, but only online), I got in love with the shade. Now, I am also in love with Nabla cosmetics, which I wouldn’t have tried if it weren’t for you. I like their lipliners and Cupid’s arrow for the eyes (that I also use on lips). I am definitely going to try their lipsticks 😊.

As a pale cool olive is such a struggle to find anything matching my skin tone 😩 Everything looks orange, peach or terracotta on me.
My holy grail, and only brown lip liner that works for me, and for nude look is pupa true lips 004.

Hi Andreaa! Great video. I hadn't worn nude lip colors for sooo many years, but have recently had a renewed interest in finding one that works for me. The ones I wore many years ago definitely don't work for me now & there's too many nude shades out there that I don't like or simply just don't flatter me. In regards to lipstick finishes, I prefer satin over matte & as far as a nude shade, I do prefer something with a bit more color (possibly more reddish or pinkish over peach or brown) that would show up as "my lips but better". Also, I would prefer neutral/warm tone over cool tone. All your selections look excellent on you, but I'd say the closest to what I think I'd like are the Lisa Eldridge Luxuriously Lucent lipsticks you demoed. Thanks for doing this video!

My skin is a bit lighter than yours and my eyes are green. For a while, I used to like all shades of coral. Last winter I loved ruby red, but this summer pink nudes. Thank you, this video was interesting.

I prefer the tube bullet like Pat McGrath and GUCCI because those lipsticks are very soft. I have huda and UOMA which come in traditional bullet and the problem is even with gentle pressure they get pushed against the rim, is can get messy and in summer if they get warm they will break easier. I feel like I have to baby them more then my other lipsticks. The tube of PMG gives a bit more support and control to the softer bullet.
Would love a version of this for red lipsticks.

I like most high end apart from Lisa Eldridge. I find the bullet often fragile and the wear not as good as others, on me. My favourite by far is Nars followed by Chanel

Lisa Eldridge is one of the first professional makeup artist I started following when TH-cam started. I knew she created her own product line, but I never bought anything. I will purchase Kitten Mischief.

Frankly, I do not like to wear lipstick- only lip balm - due to my age and the dryness of where I live (Colorado). With that being the case, I feel I would prefer the Gucci type of package as I feel it’s easier to keep clean and apply without a mirror. You have definitely given some new alternatives to my makeup!

Well! I wasn't so much into nude lipsticks , cause I love bold, colourfull lipsticks! This is who I am! But, because sometimes I enjoy doing very strong makeup looks on the eyes, I have to use more of a nude on my lips! And, there are a lot I love with different finishes, I will not mention them cause they are not from high-ends brands! But, I have one high-end brand lipstick, Pillow Talk from Charlotte Tilbury and I love it! It is a statement colour for me! I don't know what is doing, but even I have a simply makeup or more sophisticated, or lip liner or not, or lipgloss or not, that colour it always looks good on me! It simply, looks good! If I would manage to buy things from Sephora at some point, I will for sure, take the lip liner from Anastasia deep taupe cause it is the lip liner you talk the most, and I have the feeling that is that perfect lip liner! Yes! Contrast is everything when attempting a nude lip! I'm brunette and Light, with an olive undertone, so my best "nudes" are deeper. Even my lipliner is deeper. My go to lipliner is a color from Bare Minerals called Attitude. It's a cinnamon color that makes lighter lip colors look better on me. (It's also, unfortunately, discontinued.) And my default nude lipstick is So Nineties by Charlotte Tilbury (formerly Birkin Brown).
I avoid gray nudes like all the ones from Natasha Denona. And I choose a deeper lipstick because it works better with my low coverage foundations like the Chanel Water Tint. If I go lighter I need a fuller coverage foundation like Chantecaille Future Skin.
I'm over 50, so pale shades can make me look unwell. And heavy foundations enhance lines. But I agree with you totally. Lip liner is critical with nudes. I almost always use one. Also, like you I love Lisa Eldridge, but the lightest colors from her that I can wear are Muse and Affair. I like adding a dot of her glosses in the middle of my lower lip. Also love Charlotte Tilbury mattes, because they don't look or feel like most mattes.
But, as you say, you like colors that work for you. As do I. And we have very different color needs. That's why nudes are so tricky for most people. It's like hair color. I look terrible as a blonde. Especially because I don't tan. Thumbs up for good insights into the nude lipstick dilemma. I always love the way you look. And I'm thrilled with your application skills. I learn a lot from you. I feel with the nudes being a woman 52 they don’t offer enough color to my face,complexion, however the lip liners really made the difference. Thanks for many options.

My perfect nude was the praline lip crayon from ELF which was of course discontinued. Have not found that color since. It was the perfect slighty pink neutral brown for my skin.
My all time favorite nude lip liner is by Victoria Beckham in Nude #2!! She created it just for herself and says she wears it everyday and can’t live without it. I love it more than Anastasia Deep Taupe.
The undertone thing is probably why I hate CT pillow talk. It looks absolutely horrible on me and makes my teeth look super yellow. I’ve had such a hard time even finding one person who felt the same way. So so sad.

Mine is Tom Ford’s Pink Dusk. I even wore it as my wedding lipstick. Unfortunately, I think Tom Ford has discontinued the color. This absolutely gave me options for my next nude lipstick!
