So you are more willing to listen to “29yrold-know-nothing-vacuous-idiot” who can’t even put a sentence together that is nothing close to inspiring rather than Schultz who is “60some-wise” who built a global company it of hard work, discipline, good governance, who knows something about reality and economics ??? Is your brain that small to listen to aoc over Schultz ? You want to listen to a 29 yr old telling you what to do ? That you shouldn’t have children because world is ending. Doesn’t it sound just like thousands of conartist that came before her ? Do you want to listen to the 29 yr old child who said we have to stop cow flatulence and then eating a burger with her chief of staff? That one ? Please go ahead and make yourself shameful. Be my guest

While I think he is a lot more level headed and less of an extremist than the "New" Democrat party, I would like to actually know what his plans are for all the hot topic issues our country is fighting over. His solutions will expose if he is basing them off of critical thinking and statistical data or if he is pandering to those that make decision based on emotions. Time will tell and think people should reserve judgment until we get more context of what Howard Schultz actually stands for.

If someone is going to run as a centrist problem solver, you would sort of expect they would come to the table with detailed, bold policy solutions that the two major parties aren't proposing. Instead it's 50 minutes of talking points and empty platitudes. OK fair enough, he just declared his intent to run a month ago, but at least an idea or an outline or something? Repeating again and again that you are serious and the other guys aren't -- when in fact they have detailed policies and you have nothing -- is not very convincing.

Schultz asks you to be realistic and dream big just not dream big and float away as a bubble, stupid. I guess you are that 17 yr old doesn’t understand realities of life.

@@prasadj7399 Name one specific, original policy idea Schultz mentioned in this hour long talk. There was no substance there at all. He actually came off EXACTLY like the typical, equivocating Washington politician. He couldn't even give a straight answer on the non-policy questions like what he would do if it looked like he was going to reelect Trump.

He doesn't do identity politics and doesn't pander to people's emotions. This is why I was anti-democrat. Schultz has completely changed my mind! The national debt, the national debt... this guy thinks like America is a corporation. It's not. It prints its own money and is beholden to no other country or political force. Please, Howard, exit stage left. The debt is not a major problem for the USA. Inequality is a major problem, and so is climate change. You seem to have no idea what is needed or actually "realistic" for solving the problems that do exist in this country.

    • @aking0778able

S U when the US is no longer the reserve currency of the world we can print money all we want (aka electronically created by the Fed) and it will be worthless. You can’t inflate your way out of debt. It never ends well.
