The overwhelming number of 'fight' I have seen in the MLB are, as an old police colleague of mine once said; "more like handbags at dawn, than a real fight". However, I have been offering the following solution for years to those wiling to listen and it would put a stop to the deliberate targeting and hitting of batters in a matter of days. In the event that a batter gets hit, the batter gets one crack with the bat at the same spot/area he was struck on both the pitcher and the opposition manager. Job done. No playground fights, no more adults acting like stroppy 3 year olds. It wouldn't take long for it to stop.

I mean, yeah, Winker was pissed, but he wasn't going after Wantz or chewing him out. The Angels had also accidentally hit a Mariners batter the series before. The Angels left the dugout to attack Winker after yelling at him from the dugout. The announcers were obviously totally Angels homers. The umpires did a terrible job controlling the situation and they should have ejected the pitcher or started a conference to discuss more quickly.

10 games was not enough for Phil Nevin, 30 to 40 games would have worked. Notice after the scrum Jesse Winkler should not have flipped off the fans, he should have gotten at least 25 games, but Winkler has the Players Association, so the Players Association is part of the problem and not the solution, then Major League Baseball wonders why they are having problems with demographics declining. Also, this woke up the Mariners while the Angels cannot win, to me the Angels have NO guts.
For once I would like to see a fight so ugly that when the bullpens exit the bullpen itself, they just start fighting in a pile 🤣

Easy fix to this: 10 to 15 games suspensions. Just like Hockey 10 games for leaving the bench
hockey has the same amount of players from each side on ice at the same time, baseball doesnt.
