The boy is a true mutant talent capable of changing shape to adapt to the musical puzzle of the moment.

This is jamming. Musicians just having a conversation... listening to each other, then speaking to add to the conversation, and appreciating what each person is contributing. The joyful and humble attitude of this jam just adds to the already mind blowing level of skill displayed here.. Love and respect!

Steve is always in the mood of 'salamanders in in the sun', a song I love. Last improvisation by Mancuso is mind blowing to me. But Vai has something inside himself that is not easy to describe. Something spiritual, something coming from an Other World?

Side note, Jordan thank you for attention from many years ago in New Milford Ct at the national guitar summer workshop… you were my ear-training teacher and that time spent with you and Vinnie Moore were priceless.
This was phenomenal. Three of the greatest at their instruments. All brilliant and each very distinctive sounds and playing styles easily recognizable and hard to turn off. Thanks for sharing these Jordan. I saw Steve Vai with Frank Zappa when I was 16 and he was 19-20 I think. He and Terry Bozio played with Frank two years in a row and my brother took me to both thankfully. Steve helped me decide to be a guitar player and musician. Jordan is inspiring me to be a keyboard player as well. Much respect.

interesting to see Matteo phrase when he'snot doing a finger picked run. He is incredible no doubt and i think that is the one area he will grow in the most...much of his voice is based on scales and runs and he does it flawlessly...listen to Vai's ideas they were not all that fast or technical but what he was saying made it stood out. matteo is a very techincal player who does it spectacularly i would like to hear a bit more breathing room with his note choices but i absolutley love when he rips as well.
