Hey there Mark... just wanted you to know I completely agree with you about this younger gen. I'm only 53 but being born at the end of the 60's means I now a have lived in 7 different decades. Sometimes I feel the age, but usually I feel like I'm about 35, so I still love to play the music loud! And I couldn't agree more... these "kids" today really missed out on some very special years, the best music around, and some really awesome events! Have a good one!

I love this song. The crowd was respectfully quiet during the performance. The backtrack was great. He plays a mean lead guitar. But Katie is still the star. I love what she does to the song and her voice is made just for this, but I wonder what other performances she does.
I'm pretty sure Stevie is anything but jealous. Probably supportive - Probably able to offer some advice and constructive criticism. Stevie is a master of the craft. It took her years to get there. I'm certain that this young lady is aware of that and just thrilled to be able to offer her version of a song that she clearly loves. It's a beautiful performance

I've heard Katie singing a few times for you and every time she does an awesome job! I'm surprised she's not in a band or trying out for some of the shows like Idol or AGT.
Shows like Idol (and lesser) AGT are about making money, but not for the performers (it's about ratings, and the bigger the ratings are, the more the money is pumped in to the shows)... With Katie and Dovydas, it's like it should happen... Katie has this amazing melancholy voice, which, somtimes, is totally not Dovydas.... but... they work really well together! I love watching Dovydas... and I'm loving when I see Katie... she's good...!
I have a friend and former classmate, who is a really really good local country singer. He was a contestant for The Voice, but never made it to the televised show. Nobody would say it specifically, but he didn't have a "sob story" backstory. Normal guy, middle class, no obstacles in his childhood. They (shows like that) want a good singer with a good story. It's not simply about talent.

@@tanyahenderson7816 I agree. She's not even close to sounding like Stevie Nicks. Maybe if her voice was raspy, she might be mimicking Stevie. The musician didn't even know how to play Fleetwood Mac. Maybe that was a bad request. Better to play something you are familiar with as a musician.
