This is just nuts! Congrats on the amazing work. Cant imagine how many hours of hard work you and the team have put into this project. All i can say is that this is the best visual experience i had in Assetto by far. The exposure control is on another level, works in every situation, solid. Absolutely agree with this. Exposure for me was HUGE. Some of the other presets out there are way too sensitive. This one is controlled with a much wider range... Very beautiful.
Filter works and looks great no fps drop compared to the other filters i use even with my max settings ill definitely be trying your setting on my computer later tonight. My computer specs are rtx 3060 i9-109000k 64gb ram on a 2560x1440 165hz. Thank you for all the hard work that was put into making this filter

your filter is amazing, before I always had to change filters because one at night sucks out and the other in the rain. Yours is perfect and I use it for several months without changing filters

I've just installed it yesterday and I love it. Just wondering what could I change to minimize a bit the headlight overexposure on the cars a head. Also the asphalt looks a bit fake when wet with too much reflections. But I guess I can fix it on rainfx. Anyway, thanks for this. Gave a whole new mood for this game.
For the first thing, reduce cars lit multiplier in CSP settings lightingfx. For the second,simply have less wet asphalt:p

I've been using this filter for 3 days and after a few minor pure tweaks I can sincerely say that this is my favorite. Guys you have done a gorgeous work!! I'd like to report that at night, inside srp tunnels, sometimes the lights are too yellow and everything seems yellow too. This issue may be just mine, but I wanted to let you know.

Thanks! It wasn't developed with HDR in mind, but according to Sebastien Callens, it works great with dxgi hdr.
@@C13Automotive hey I tried it om hdr monitor with hdr settings but it does not look good like without hdr. I found compromise just to have hdr enabled in windows bot not in ac with dxgi so I can enhance shadows and dark areas more and the result is amazing! I never seen ac looks this good! Keep up the good work and in the future just have in mind about hdr becouse results can be on another level up with talent you got! Thank you :)
@@darkojovanoski9751 well, it's very important to get more feedback so thanks. I'll definitely be looking into HDR in the future, but it's hard to get people to test, since HDR screens are still not very standard
@@C13Automotive yeah that's true, but on the other side pc users have some prejudice about hdr in windows and pc monitors peak brightness BUT even Peter knows that and allowed us to have slider to change peak brightness becouse monitors are different. With your autoexposure in this filter I don't think it's necessary to add any stuff like that becouse it works perfectly, just adjust it if you have hdr monitor.

was excited to try this in VR but unfortunately the auto exposure in the filter just doesnt work in VR, well atleast not on my Lenovo explorer, when im inside the car my screen gets blown out and the area outside the windows turns almost pure white on some tracks making it impossible to see, so ive unfortunately had to manually disable auto exposure if i want to do any racing with it on
Are you sure you're using Pure and installed manually? While I admit the filter was not tested in VR at all, I'm not sure how you'd manually disable auto exposure.
@@C13Automotive sorry for the late reply, im afraid i forgot to install pure so i went and bought it and installed it and the auto exposure seems to be working in VR now, although i think pure has messed up VR a bit, as my head is now locked in place, while i can look around i cant move my head around the cabin or move my head outside the car or whatever, so ill need to look into that.
as for disabling auto exposure, i just clicked manage next to the aegis PP filter scrolled till i found "[AUTO EXPOSURE]" and changed "enabled=1" to "enabled=0"
@@C13Automotive update my vr is all back to normal now, my vr headset had lost head tracking but I fixed it and everything is working A-OK now, working and looking great, although I did notice on a custom map when facing in a certain direction the exposure blew up and my screen went almost completely white but so far only noticed it on one map

@@wickedeagans Because pure is a weatherFx system, not a filter. It comes with a few filters, but that's far from all it is.
@@C13Automotive see that’s where I was and slightly confused. I know it’s a weather script so can run rain and what not. But I been using pure and pure candy ppfilter so that’s why was confused as those are the two filters I been running.

Amazing filter. I made some fine tuning adjustments as needed because HDR ;) but overall amazing... turned down the saturation just a little about to 70% and its perfect. Would you mind sometime sharing your fine tuned Pure Profile settings in game? Awesome work. Sub'd.
The filter applies all of the releavant pure settigns automatically, so there aren't any other settings to share ;)

@@khosho820 filters generally aren't performance killers. But your hardware can't handle the CSP settings required to replicate this look exactly

But, the game can still look great even without performance killing things like sslr, bounced lighting, dynamic shadows, etc. I have a notebook with a 1650 max-q and the game still looks good even without those csp features

The filter was not developed or tested with dxgi hdr support in mind, but it was extensively used on an LG C1 HDR tv. So I would recommend turning dxgi HDR off for the intended experience
@@C13Automotive I tried with and without dxgi HDR and to my point of view it looks even more realistic with dxgi HDR. I would recomend to try it. Let me know. Great work by the way. The cockpit view is so much realistic than PureEyeHDR.

I was really excited for this filter but it's really overexposed during both night and day, it gives bad performance in VR, and crashes all the time. Shame because it looks great in the video.
Make sure to:
Disable "shoot cubemap around focused car",
Reset pure to defaults,
Install filter manually
@@C13Automotive I know, I've done all of that. It just doesn't work for me. I can't tell if it's related to the latest CSP preview version, but it's not working as it should.

I can run the ppfilter on my 1060, no drop from 60fps 1080, so anything better than that and you should be good even at 1440
Great PP filter just wish it was optimized for triple screen setup. The sides fade to black.
You can manually edit the vignette strength to lessen the effect on the side screens. either in the ingame filter editor, or in the ini directly. 5% or 0.05 should do

Page and Not gonna lie, that pp Filter is Amazing. The lamplights are amazing, but what I do is I run it on 200 percent exposure, because otherwise it would be too dark.
As a pure filter it's not recommended to use the exposure slider to adjust brightness. Instead, you should use the calibration sliders in the pure config app on the pp tab

The "pure config" is embedded into the filter as it should be. So just install and select and you're good to go. That said, if you've ever applied anyone's pure config, make sure to reset pure to default.
Daytime it looks great for me but at night it's just totally overexposured at least for me.
I don't think I've heard this one before, so it's def just you. Things I would suggest you try,
Resetting pure to defaults,
Adjusting night brightness calibration in the pp tab of the pure config app,
Reset lightingfx to defaults.
@@C13Automotive Already tried some of that but will look into it more. It's pretty much just other cars but tunnels are super bright.

Hey! I have an issue, when I go into cockpit mode, my game gets a lot brighter for some reason. And when I open Pure, it says PP filter has no Pure script?
Reinstall the filter manually. You installed by dragging onto cm which often causes issues.

It is installed like any other pp filter. So just extract the contents of the zip into your assetto corsa root directory. But to state this again just in case, this filter is for pure only.
Is there a pure preset that comes with the filter, or just adjust to personal liking, one of the best if not the best filter out there btw
The filter automatically applies all the relevant pure settings (as it should). Just make sure to install manually and you're good to go, no extra steps necessary

depends on whether or not you want to run the CSP preset as well. The filter itself is very optimized so it runs as well as default pure filters. The CSP preset is heavy though, so i'd recommend a 2070 and up for a guaranteed 60fps experience

@@savvidisaudio yes, that is aprt of the preset. You can reenable ESC in replays in csp settings, general patch settings, controls, ignore escape button in replays

There are two calibration sliders in the pp tab of the pure config app, use them to achieve acceptable brightness on your monitor.
So it will change the yellow lights to white on srp?whats your pure config?
The filter has no effect on srp lights. That's a skin i made for srp. There is no pure config, the filter is fully pure compatible and as such manages all relevant pure parameters automatically.
How does that work compared to Sky pp filter?
I mean, it has a different base aesthetic and a different approach to dynamic modulation of all parameters. Without wanting to put down sky, aegis is quite a bit more intricate in the way the visuals are dynamically adjusted based on weather conditions.
@@C13Automotive comparing the performance, this Is harder to manage for the PC or easier? I got a GTX 1080, 16gb RAM and i7 6700k. I dunno if It can manage the filter well or not.

There is no pure config. The filter automatically applies all relevant values to pure. If you've ever applied a pure config, make sure to reset pure to defaults.

How can I enable the DOF in game while racing? Or is it only available during the photo mode?
You need photo mode activated. But there is a hidden setting in neckfx.ini that enables dof in cockpit view if you're comfortable playing with that
