I have shot high end hoyts for years, but 2 years ago I picked up that exact bow. That same year I got the Bear Adapt. Both of these bows are great, especially for the price. I set them up with older quivers, sights, rests and arrows that I have been using for years. Last year I hunted with the adapt, but this year the resurgence is up to bat. I have a pretty standard draw length, 29" , the resurgence has such a smooth draw and is very easy to tune, its just a pleasure to shoot. It's not super fast but it's quiet. The only modification I made was to add the same grip module that comes on the Adapt. My broadhead of choice this year is the Magnus black hornet 2 blade. These less expensive options work great and and wont' break the bank. I think its ridiculous that some of these top end bows cost 2,000 dollars or more! Bear makes quality affordable bows for people that just want to hunt and not get caught up in the the "tv hype"! Enjoy the channel, keep up the good work!
I was looking at those older single cam bows this year. I ended up going with the new Alaskan xt Rth and so far it’s been good to me. Tomorrow is opening day and I’m hoping to put something in the freezer early and then finish the season with a trad kill. Also I’m running the same setup arrow on my wife’s bow. Same arrows, same brass inserts and VPA 3 blades. I re fletched them with aae hybrid 26 though.

Very nice! I have a similar plan 👍
On budget buy a one or two year old bow off archerutalk for 1/3 the price of new
I have cycled through 13 used bows in a year 😂 you can definitely find some good deals but you also never know what you’re getting.
