50 years Gary could swing punches couple of tough + brusing fights in tournament in kowloon city in final he fought against a shorter muscular karate guy ,,brutal fight Gary came out victories ,,
It's my understanding that 'Quan Sau' is both Water and Wood - Because its attributes are: reaction, changing (water) and feeling, timing (wood) - is that correct?
1:25 I watched this again. One thing that infuriates me is the #jeetkunedo people thinking we can hit, hit, hit. You don’t know how long I’ve been saying, “you guys need to learn your forms and history before you can strip it down correctly.” The elbow to bottom three is one of our main tools in JKD. They don’t want to call it a YUT GEE CHEUNG CHOY KUEN for some reason. They would never use a TAN SAO but certain techniques they think are better than others. All the WING CHUN strikes they use. Not the deflection shapes like GAANG and QUAN. Just so you know, anybody that asks me and we see about 200,000 people a month on TH-cam here. I tell them... you need to learn your GARY LAM WING CHUN and most definitely should learn 18 hand and 12 hand PAK SAO. 😎☑️💯💥absolute facts. 💯Gary shows THE SMART WAY.
Wing Chun teaching is incomplete without Sifu Gary 🙏💐

As one of his students, I would have loved to have seen that.
@@GaryLamWingChunKungFu 100% agree - what an incredible series of fights to see...!
0:06 just saw this. 😉🤟💥💯curious, what element would QUAN SAO be? Tan/wood. Bong/? Just curious coach.

@@file66 I think so. I'll ask Sifu.
just avoid fights ,,,meaningless
of course good for delf defense n close quater combat
@@canostota It's a close quarter combat style.
@@GaryLamWingChunKungFu I’m guessing. But TAN is wood. BONG I’m not sure if it’s metal or not. 😊💯💥
