I have that same screen set up and it's amazing. You can really get creative with the colors. The shell that I have needed to be shaved away to accommodate the bigger screen which was slightly nerve-wracking but howdy does it look amazing. Try this color combo: Color 0 - R26, G48, B31 Color 1 - R08, G34, B25 Color 2 - R21, G00, B04 Color 3 - R00, G00, B09
This isn't the Funnyplaying kit, this is the Hispeedido kit that features the OSD and complete colour palette control. Funnyplaying kit doesn't allow full custom palette adjustment, it only allows you to cycle through various pre-made palettes.

While the new ips screens mods are amazing, I miss the process of backlight/bivert. Especially if the screen had lines, repairing those was super satisfying haha.

WAIT, where'd you get that sick case for your TS80? I just shoved mine in a plastic container that contained something, can't remember if it was heatsinks for M.2 or what. OH YOU KNOW WHAT, it was a case for one of the clear locks with lock picking tools. Was a perfect size for all the tips and the iron itself. But that case is nice.
Ive seen it so many times but always enjoy a gameboy restoration. Any recommendations for good places to get 3ds parts or shells with the retromodding quality?
Hey Elliott! There's something you should know about soldering you're doing wrong, which annoys me as an engineer. You always seem to be blowing on the solder after you solder. This makes the solder connection very brittle and fragile, and it also looks matte instead of shiny when it dries. Do with this info what you want ;) 4:40 : Here you see it go matte after you blow on it... Makes me cringe so hard. Just let it cool in the air!

The case is excellent and the options on the screen mod are great. The LED mod works well with those buttons, but it's not essential.
