Anywhere in Monterey or Carmel Ca is Beautiful my Sisters lives in Monterey only 5 Blocks away from the Wharf. It’s gorgeous & weather it’s Beautiful we go every weekend to Pacific Grove & Wharf to go Eat seafood or spaghetti or Lobster & awesome clam shower. I’ll be going back this week & hopefully in the future I’ll rent my beautiful home & invest beautiful home in Monterey Ca or Pacific Grove Ca!!! That’s why I am Investing my Money.
As a long time resident one negative about Carmel Valley Village is the lack of a true civic structure. There’s a lot that needs to be upgraded but the population isn’t very motivated. In spite of the tasting rooms there are too many empty business spaces. Actually an overwhelmingly liberal population. It’s an area you would say has a lot of potential but doesn’t live up to it.
As a kid in the 70's I would hear the races and ride over the grade on my stingray and then ride back. Later I did it on my Honda 90@@movingtomontereycalifornia
It's a beautiful place. Carmel River is in a state of ecological collapse from water draws, and steelhead are about to go extinct. Monterey and Carmel people have to fix this disaster.
Hey, CV resident here. You nailed it! We moved back down here in 2021 from the Bay Area. My first choice was the City of Monterey but my wife wanted the eternal sunshine of CV. As they say, “happy wife, happy life!” Regarding the whole “more conservative” vibe, that’s true to an extent. That said, most folks in the valley that I know lean a bit liberal. Once you get a few miles east of the CV Village though, it definitely takes on a more rural/conservative vibe. I’m a bit west of the Village which suits me. Keep up the good work on the videos!!!
Look at that beautiful shop at the beginning of the video! And that classic Ford truck is cool too!
Yuck

Gorgeous area and presentation! Great information and insights from the local expert 🥇
This is a beautiful area! And such helpful knowledge!
Riding road bicycles is great there especially past the village. For a real workout ride over the grade to Laguna Seca and back.
🚴I couldn’t make that ride over the grade if you paid me!!

Wait, LOOK! Time stamp 2:16, as you are viewing him, the fence on the right is new and the fence on the left is old and swabby. Is this an omen?
I love here and it’s amazing
Great little restaurant there called Bear + Flag, excellent sandwiches.
Good presentation, fantastic area to be. A big downside to CV are water issues.
