"Hallelujah" Lyrics:
The other day I found myself up on the corner
I thought I run into a friend of mine
Ended up that he was just a stranger
I said hello as he passed me by
But then he turned and put a gun to my head
He said, My friend I'm going to rob you blind
I said You must be down on your luck
I'm out of money and I'm all out of time
He pulled the trigger and I fell to my knees
My spirit left and then my body went cold
I'm looking down upon the lights of the city
I feel alive, but I'm dead and gone
Ain't no more walking down the side of the road
Ain't no more sleeping on the edge of a frown
Ain't no more favors from someone I don't know
cause there ain't nobody hear me, there ain't nobody around
Hallelujah, coming home
Hallelujah, hes dead and gone
Hallelujah, somethings wrong
Hallelujah
So tell me now if your singing can bring me
Another day with my feet on the ground
I miss living and living misses me
I miss it so much that im holding me down
For all the things that I never could change
For all the reasons that I never understood why
I feel alone, baby
I'm dead and gone, baby
There's somethings wrong
cause you know I still feel alive
My train is rolling down the line
nd I'm waiting till it to bring me a dream
for holding you up in my eyes
oh feel my love, honey
from up above, honey
Oh don't give up on me cause im coming down
I'm not a one nighter
I'm not a flat liner
I've everything in between the harmony you're singing loud
Hallelujah, coming home
Hallelujah, its dead and gone
Hallelujah, somethings wrong
Hallelujah, its just a song
The other day I found myself up on the corner
I thought I run into a friend of mine
For those that have never been to gruene hall you don't know what you are missing. I've been there. Beautiful wooden dance floor 😍
Only recently found John Prine.
Incredible talent. Brought much happiness to my life.
Thank you Yellowstone for introducing me to this amazing artist that touched my soul.
Never would I think a T.V. show would lead me to some of the best real, raw country I've heard in a long time. And it appears I'm late to the party, but I'm here to stay forever!
Fact
Just be glad you're here
Yep, Austin City Limits in 2010 😉
Same shit! Coming from someone who listened to rap all his life.... this guy is fucking awesome!!!!
Stay forever
I remember years ago I just happened to have the TV on and it just happened to be the Austin City Limits with Drive By Truckers on the first half and some guy named Ryan Bingham on the second half. His performance was the most powerful shit I've ever seen on that show. I was hooked instantly and he has changed the way I look at music. I'd give a whole lot to get a copy of that ACL performance..
Yellowstone sent me here.
Fan for life 🍻
Sorry George, there's a new king of country music!
I love the grit in your voice!! You are a natural singer and thank you for sharing your talent with us. Your songs are truley heart of Country Music!!!!!!
best real, raw country!
When you look up "Cowboy", in the Dictionary, there's a picture of Ryan Bingham.
Ryan, you’ve got so much natural, soul stopping sound. Find true peace in your talent. Don’t ever let the industry take your soul.
So true…genuine..real…deep
Spoken for thousands of people - nothing to add
Real music its about time there is a resurgence in song writing real music.
Love Your ☠ Music 🎶 And The Stories you tell
Got a voice like an old gravel country road! So authentic!
Never heard of you or your music until Yellowstone. Definitely wish I had heard of you before! Love your music!
Sou brasileiro, conheci através de yellostone. Não entendo a letra mas a melodia toca na alma! Parabéns Ryan, espero um dia conseguir em um show seu nos EUA
See y’all at Redrocks in June!!! Native Texan here and the family just happens to be in Colorado Springs for a week vacation 😇 from the Texas heat 🙌
finding this guys music and then finding the show Yellowstone too within 2 years apart. just mind blowing this guys amazing man of many traits love how he sings and love how he acts
Yellowstone Season 4, Episode "No Such Thing As Fair" brought me here. What a beautifully haunting song.
I hope you go far.. you sure deserve it ryan may thy father and my lord and saviour jesus christ watch all over you amen and may he watch all over his children today and everyday god bless you amen
I don't know you Aj Nunez, but you are definitely my brother in Christ!!
God Bless you and amen 🙏
This guy can sing never heard of him until I started watching Yellowstone I love his music had a drink just found him on utu be
I got turned onto him a few years ago....back when crazy heart the movie came out. My brother told me I'd like the guy that actually wrote the theme song.....well ever since ......
back in the 90's Ryan Bingham wrote "The Weary Kind", a song for Jeff Bridges film, Crazy Heart.......
true American soul here guys ...
Great f*cking song and singer, he's already accomplished more than most are willing to strive for. "I miss living, & living misses me"
Somebody is calling in all their markers!!
Bring them in.
Nice of y'all to be here. Glad y'all could make it
The shot of the crowd. People are screaming, singing, and whispering the words
Pro tip: watch movies on kaldroStream. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Miles Khalid Yea, have been watching on kaldrostream for months myself :D
An old friend from Wise county who plays guitar said he heard Ryan was an axxhole. I said, “you sure we’re talking bout the same guy?”
He said, “oh yeah, I heard it from someone who met him.”
I said, “well, everybody has a bad day now & then!”
Love this guy’s music. Every time you hear an interview with him he’s humble & down to earth. Not cocky like the tools I grew up listening to... lol
The guy your old friend heard it from was probably an asshole. A lot of people just talk too much, too much rubbish, so much rubbish that they forget what is important in life. Even if he were an asshole, he would make up for it a thousandfold with his music.
@@illukangermanviking2244 exactly!
pls come up to germany
So glad I found Ryan’s wonderful music.
awesome, miss Gruene Hall and Texas. from Western France.
this song always makes the hairs on my arms stand up.. chilling.. beautiful... so glad i got to hear him sing this live in Oklahoma once..
I was just thinking the same thing..goose bumps..and some tears
Little Rock and Oxford Mississippi for me. Bot 10byrs ago now
A great uncut voice one that is natural and pure not full of and anything else just a real solid great voice
Crazy Heart movie soundtrack, brought me to "Wolves" then brought me here, and now I am just blown away. The raw I needed after crazy day, thank you.
Hey good looking
Yes..raw..real…authentic..good…handsome…the whole package
damn that's good stuff, been listening to ryan for years, because if you want real country you won't find it in nashville.
Ryan you are amazing. Thank you for keeping that raw country music alive!!!! Your songs touch home brother!!!
Awesome
great night it was!! The floor was LITERALLY bouncing. Funny to see my mug singing in this video.
Hah, it’s embarrassing to see my tall hammered mug 10 times in the video singing way too hard. And you’re right, ol Gruene Hall felt like it was going to fall down that night. Never felt it shake anywhere near that much before or since, even at other Bingham shows. Possibly the best part of that night was being introduced to Honeyhoney who have been one of my favorite bands ever since.
Hitman gaming, a streamer on Facebook said this was his favorite song so I looked you up ..... now hooked great stuff
I love his music!.He's playing in Austin with Willie and Chris Stapleton this summer. I live in Colorado. I want to go!
This is one of my all time favourite songs. Thanks Lucky.
Ryan, it'd be great if you'd come do a show in Bama or TN or GA...just somewhere close to me. Damn I'd bring everyone & we'd have one hell of a good time and so would you. Love your music, man.
SYLO4ever na Texas is better for him to stay
Ever seen Adam Hood? He's a native of Bama and sings some good Texas Country. Seen him in Bama and Texas.
Just found this song, been hearing it all my life!
NICE
That was a Badass show that night. Thinking Ryan is gonna have to start doing back to back nights at The Hall from now in.
I can watch/listen to you all day!
♥ a longtime fan, and love the cantina sessions.

Badass! Love This Song.
Love Gruene Hall
Where have you been all my life. Hit's ya in da feels don't it!
I discovered real country again. Real and raw country with deep feeling. Who needs that stadium country crap
Agree 100% this guy puts faith in the fact there is still good country out there, just gotta dig deep for it. His Storytelling reminds me of Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Mark Lanegan, Johnny Cash
Cash helped put him on lost highway label. Legend has it when Cash passed he left his balls to Bingham!¿!!¿
Thanks Caleb Rankin for showing me this song. It really represents the season my life is in
His show was one of thee best I ever seen.
A man with a heart & guitar
🥰 Great song, great voice, I love ❤
