It's amazing how lucky Germany was in early war, had the Allies (unrealistically) just forced war coordination on the Benelux and in their own countries just a bit earlier on the decade the Germans would had ran out of ammunition, tanks and supplies as early as May 1940 trying to Schlieffen Plan 2
Fun fact for France, if you release Algeirs at the beginning of the game as a puppet it will do the generic focus tree and get you extra industry and with blum violette proposal text gets added if they're a puppet to reannex them :)

In a typical game alot of people don't release Algeirs so the focus description just says core all Algerian states. If you release them as a puppet as France your focus changes to add the text annex and core Algeirs :)

fun fact , light tanks are the most effective garrison division , they tie more or less with armored cars but tanks got advantage of losing much less menpower with easy meitenance or any production buffs from MIO , light tanks are best garrisons im not sure if paradox updated it but i done tests of germany anexing france , by console , give myself lots equipment and compare loses after entire year. and tank division looked best , they also use the least amount of menpower too i believe

I was playing as Czechoslovakia and I was in the allies fighting the cominterm and the allies were also somehow at war with the US, anyways basically Soviets capitulate, Finland becomes faction leader, Chile assumes faction leadership making the cominterm a democratic faction that the USA can join, which they proceeded to do

Fact 1: By creating a garrison light tank, you can make it VERY cheap. I would argue it's superior garrison due to increase in suppression and decrease in losses. Especially so with better garrison practices. Fact 2: Steal a page from MP meta and do 4 clicks of armor and spam the shit out of a cheap med tank, where you can keep cost down and get great breakthrough with balancing other stats.

You could have released Algeria as a puppet, they will have their own focus tree and you'll annex them later when you do the Blum Viollette proposal focus Ban the leagues is a useful focus, it prevents a civil war if your stability is under 30% (so it is useful if you want to send volunteers in Spain) and also strikes during the war
Never annex Italy, later in the game you will get an event to let you choose to set it free or go to war with it. Choose the war option, and then you will not have the annoying Italian divisions problems. Greetings from Argentina and Taiwan ❤
Actually the rearmement event is quite rare. (I have played France hundreds of time - yes I'm French, how do you know ?) It's quite surprising you got it so often.
I also wanted to suggest smth, ive seen people using flame tanks as support companies, and they give HUGE bonuses to certain trains, maybe you can try that?

You can split t your industry one half on the old tank and the other half on the new tank. In that way you keep your production efficiency.
