Thank you for such a nice video. My friends and I are headed there next week for a 3day trip. We've been so bothered about activities to do and places to see. This video really helps.
Nice video guys! Such a beautiful "hidden gem" of a place in northern Saskatchewan! Heading up there to camp in my favorite spot in Beaver Glen Campground for two weeks in mid July! So Sorry to hear of the closing of Elk Ridge resort though. Such a shame.
@@MTDfilms Yeah sadly the owner just couldn't make a go of ot with the pandemic and he had to go to receivership in June. It is closed and currently for sale. Someone will buy it I hope and get it going again. What a spectacular place!
@@chazz9471 Just got back from an AWESOME 2 weeks of camping at Beaver Glen. In case anyone is wondering the shower facilities ARE OPEN in Beaver Glen campground and they are cleaned and sanitized regularly. The Parks Canada website still hasn't been updated since early June and still says that the showers are closed. That is wrong, they're open. Elk Ridge is shut down. Looks like someone is still maintaining it but certainly not open. Wasn't aware that there was a "new owner". Not sure if you locals just have "free golf" currently or what's going on but I did see some dudes in golf carts heading out onto the course.
@@BongBackpackerz I don't live in Canada, but I usually visit Canada (Quebec and Ontario) Next time I will make Saskatchewan on my agenda Once again thanks
@@jonaslaurince that's great to hear buddy.. When you come, feel free to give us a shout and we can give you a quick list of "must see" here in this prairie province
Thank you Koushik, glad you liked the video. No, unfortunately we took SK-2 for a quick arrival since we started off late.We will definitely try that next time.. :)

greg d we have a cabin there, the new owner is taking over now. but the reason that it closed was because of the owner not wanting to run it

Good work with editing!! Did you go on Hwy 263 - the scenic route ?
Thank you Koushik, glad you liked the video. No, unfortunately we took SK-2 for a quick arrival since we started off late.We will definitely try that next time.. :)
Love the scenic route. I drive in from Edmonton every summer. It feels like my home away from home!
Lovely place in Alberta, I love the spots here.
as in you have a lovely place in Alberta or you think the video is about Alberta it's not it's about another province called Saskatchewan.
Windy as up there no cap
Some segments in the video are stamped not adjacent to each other
I hope I can go there this summer. I guess i have to hit up willy's now
Yeah Willys was a cozy little place.. a tad bit on the expensive side we felt considering the options, but it's like an Oasis in the middle of nowhere
