  • Join me on the trip through Prince Albert National Park. In this first episode of the two part series we will cover two beautiful lakes Sandy and Nemekus. The video will also take you on a walk through the thick Boreal Forests by exploring Tait Spring, Spruce River Highlands, and Shady Lake trails. The National park is about 100 kilometers north of Prince Albert and is spread across 3,874 square kilometers in the region of southern boreal forest. This national park is home to a healthy population of bison, black bears, elk, moose, white-tailed deer, wolves, foxes and cougars.
The National Park has three main entrances. This video explores the scenic route from the town of Christopher Lake to Waskesiu the only permanent settlement within the park.
The next episode will cover the Height of Land, Hamlet of Waskesiu, Waskesiu River and Waskesiu Lake (the jewel in the crown of the National Park).

When people think of Saskatchewan they usually only think of prairies but it seems like the province has a lot of other nature too. I’d like to visit some day, From Ontario

Your youth betrays you. I was just there at that park and that is how they all looked in the 70’s. Very laid back and very under-developed. Contrast that to the overprice and overpopulated place in the BC Rockies

Yes, no doubt Saskatchewan is an underrated province. BC and Alberta are overcrowded and expensive during the summers as an overwhelming number of tourists flock to the mountains.

Whether $16 per car is the entrance fee same for both Canadian and tourists?

Yes it's the same for everyone.
