Keyboards might be the weirdest rabbit hole. The sheer amount of customization and personality you can give your keyboard is nuts. Like there are whole sub communities for just keycaps, switches, and sounds.
As a keyboard enthusiast I will agree but the keyboard community will guide you the whole way to making a custom keyboard
Na weirdest rabbit hole is graffiti art but yea i got in to keyboards around the age of 11 my favorite key boards i have and the ones I use the most is the ducky one 2 mini, RK64 and Kraken hollow caps. But yea I found such a fascination with keyboards and never understood u also have to spend some good money on these suckers 😅😊

Maybe getting a keyboard that is in general larger so when you type its easy. If you are struggling to type on a keyboard than idk what suffering you have on a phone.

You also don't type alone, ever. From doing math, it turns out that in every 1/10th of a second on Earth, spacebar is hit 600,000 times. So when you hit the space, you're doing it at the exact time as 600,000 other people. Wow :)

i love the effort to even show what’s being typed on the screen and this whole thing is beautiful and very relaxing. thank you gibi
they sound different based on where the switches are placed on the keyboard, stuff such as the case material, switches, keycaps, whats under the board and many other things can affect the sound. if you put some foam (known as foam modding) under the PCB (what you said looked intimidating) the switches should sound a lot more uniform.

Absolutely loved the last one. Could listen that sound for hours. Idk if you will ever read this but, I have a video suggestion. My no.1 fave video that you ever filmed is the one where you style your friends hair (you blowdry it and straighten it etc.). I cant say how many times I've watched that one. It's like pure gold to me, but I know you never did anything simillar to it again, where you do someones hair, especially the straightening sounds omg. If you ever read this I would LOVE to see sometning like that on your channel it would make me sooo happy❤️ly Gibi you are the best

Gosh I love keyboard ASMR, plus Gibi talking about how disastrous was the second one I was like "LOL poor her", and she types so fast, even not trying to, and when she really did the speed typing i was wondering if my brother meant I was fast like that but I hardly believe it LMAO. My ears are blessed!
I love keyboard sounds! I remember when I was young, before I knew what asmr was, every time I heard people typing (especially the clicking at checkouts or doctor appointments) I found myself getting sleepy and never knew why! I would say it was my first unintentional experience of asmr.

I love keyboard building videos, even when they're not specifically made to be ASMR they often end up having that effect anyway! Keyboards just seem to be one of those perfect ASMR items all around. That last keyboard is AMAZING, you totally saved the best for last. I also like how its keycaps sound when you're running your hand across them. I personally like top-down/birds-eye-view typing videos more than side-view ones like this, seeing the fingers find the keys from above is similar to tracing for me, especially if it's done slowly and deliberately. Tracing a finger across the keycaps to spell out things without actually typing is also a great one. As a newbie keyboard enthusiast myself, it's fun to see you get into it too! It's fascinating stuff and gets you to really listen to subtleties you might've never noticed before. Looking forward to more keyboard stuff from you! ❤

19:50 you are referring to "spring ping" the springs in the switches jump back you can use foam (foam modding) and put it inside of the keyboard to reduce the sound and you can also lube your switches (the springs inside of the switch to be exact)
25:56 One reason the switches sound different is because of the amount of lube that the switches are lubed. A recommendation for switches is glorious pandas or banana splits. And if you’re going to lube your own switches, you can never overdue it!

Well I thought that TOO until I listened to TROJAN WAR: THE PODCAST and learned that the iliad ends after (spoilers lol) Hectors funeral but the Trojan War continued after that and the podcast continued to cover after that, SOOOOOoo-oo0o00o0o ..... . . . . Trojan War Story :)
ALSOOoooo TROJAN WAR: THE PODCAST covers things that happened BEFORE and outside the iliad to give context to the trojan war itself. So not just the Iliad. :). :). :)
