there are mech keyboards with has per-key rgb lights, the "light up on keypress" effect is one of many preinstalled effects. it's a quite common effect on rgb keyboards
i'm not using them that much, only for asmr content. i highly recommend to store them in the trays they come with, if you're not using them, instead putting them in a bag, bc the glaze might chip off
