    You should test “baby water”. The water that’s marketed to moms specifically for giving their infants/mixing their formula with.

    • @LaPrentissDemond
      @LaPrentissDemond  2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Most baby water is distilled which is bad. Newborns should drink neutral water until they are 1 year old. I may make a video on it…thanks for the support

      @@LaPrentissDemond what about for mixing with formula?

    • @LaPrentissDemond
      @LaPrentissDemond  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Neutral water is best for infants. Filtered water. They just left an alkaline fluid and don’t require alkaline water for at least 1 year. Filtering yourself is best, but I guess the best bottled would be a spring water.

    • @LaPrentissDemond
      @LaPrentissDemond  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For mixing with formula it’s fine to use a neutral water. If you can’t filter it yourself then next best would be a spring water. That ensure some minerals are there for growth and development

      @Ok-gf9ib 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Distilled water would be better for that, since most minerals are removed, the minerals can cause damage to your radiator because it can build up over time. (I would recommend de ionized water though, because every thing that’s not water is removed completely)

      That’s not NSF certified to remove anything, so I personally don’t trust it. You can check for their certification here: www.nsf.org/certified-products-systems
      It's also good to know what's in your tap water by going here:
      www.ewg.org/tapwater
      Definitely ignore the 500 pop ups on this site and focus on the following:
      1) Enter your zip code
      2) If it’s not the only one, choose your specific municipality
      3) Scroll all the way down to see what’s in your tap water
      once you get there send me a picture of what you got!
      lemme know if you run into any challenges

    • @LaPrentissDemond
      @LaPrentissDemond  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Boiling distilled water won’t change anything. It won’t increase the ORP, or change the alkalinity but the water molecules of course will be small enough to produce tea. It will just be lacking the minerals your water would naturally have outside of what the tea brings

      My apologies. They are both the same. There is not one that is clearly more superior when it comes to distilled vs purified.
      Both remove majority of the minerals, are oxidizing and acidic.
      I guess if it were the end of the world and I had to choose 1… I would go with distilled because maybe some minerals could end up in the beverage. Both are horrible though and robs you if your minerals.

      Babies under 1 years old actually should drink filtered water because their bodies are already alkaline.
