I've been at the oasis wasn't all that food was not good! what resort do you recommend for my next trip to cancun
@@user-of6nn9fl7k yea def wouldn't recommend. If you are looking in the hotel zone but economical park royal always had good food and bbqs by the pools, its a smaller resort but I enjoyed it. Out of the hotel zone 'The Grand" at Moon Palace. The food was 5 STAR!!! So good!

@@user-of6nn9fl7k Awesome! My absolute pleasure, just keep in mind that "The Grand" is the higher end section with the 5 star food I was mentioning but all of moon palace is def beautiful! It is out of the hotel zone as mentioned but I enjoyed it for sure :)
@Roula Mindbodylife yeah I just noticed that it's not where the water looks amazing! So, I'll continue searching for higher end resorts at the hotel zone

I spent a spring break week here in college. Surreal seeing this video. We were constantly buzzed and never in our rooms. Cannot wait for another week like that.
During spring break months the resort is full of 18-35. It felt like I was at an international university party for a week. Also, there’s a lot of pools, we only spent time at what she called the “adult pool”. Depending on when you go, the restaurants are hard to get into. There wasn’t really anyone to ask about how to figure out the restaurant situation. That being said, If food is what’s on your mind, you’d oribably figure it out a lot faster than me. I was okay with the food truck style food for a week offered around the resorts vs waiting in line for steak restaurants.

How was your stay ? Was it close to the strip and night clubs ?
Quick question, when did you go in what month? Looking to go end of July with my 2 kids. We avoided april due to spring break season(my wife and I getting too old for that lol.)
Lol yea I get that! I went right around that time in the beginning of August. To be honest it was still very busy you can see from the video that it was definitely crowded but mostly with families and the beach most days was pretty clean as well :)

The weather was perfect but it is hot in July, it can rain at times but rainy season starts in September so you're fine :-)

Hi thanks for sharing. As a vegetarian family, will i struggle with options in the buffet restaurants? Im going for my anniversary and 50th birthday so hoping for a good celebration, but I keep reading not so good reviews after booking so debating whether to change it. What would you recommend please?
It wasn't my favorite resort nor was the food that great, you saw the food video...I hope that helped you with your decision :)

@@Shelley6821I switched to Krystal Grand Cancun. They also have a newer tower called Altitude. To be honest i don't think there's much of a miss out. I can't fault the food, service, location or accommodation at all. So glad i switched.
Was the coffee and gelato included or did you have to pay for it separately?
Included, only high end items are extra. Example would be if you wanted lobster or prime cut meats

This was a great review! You said you stayed at the “grand oasis”, do you know what the differences would be for booking at the “pyramid”?
The pyramid is part of the Grand Oasis it's just where the reception is the beginning of this video is where I start and it's the pyramid
They have three different tiers "access to amenities" Grand Oasis, Grand Pyramid Oasis, and Siaan Kaan Club. The Pyramid does have a separate beach club area and better rooms

Unfortunately my mother had a very expensive (approx 5000$) gold bracelet stolen from the safe in their sister resort - Grand Oasis Tulum. When trying to get an investigation into the theft we got the run around by management, and now they will not answer our calls. There was a camera right outside our room!!! Go to the Bahia instead.

I’ve never been on a vacation in and allowed people to “clean” our room. I always keep the no house keeping sign on my handle. Why would I want some random employee going through my room to “clean” it? I’ll get my own towels…

unless you have Pyramid package RUN away . Brcause ince you reserve and check in you are in for a surprise of no refund. 100% penalty.
Yes if you dont cancel prior to check in you dont get refunded even with insurance

I just left this resort and it honestly depends on what you’re looking for . We stayed on the Grand Oasis side , the food was delicious at the steakhouse and Italian restaurant. Buffett wasn’t good and food around the pool area wasn’t the best . The rooms are extremely dated . I made the best of my stay but I wouldn’t return.
