I have similar comment like your other viewers and fans. I find what you do exciting and relaxing. I love your adventures, the information about the items you find, and how you renew your finds with your creativity. Most of all, I love the sweetness and genuine love between a mom and her child.
Tried mudlarking today after buying wellies and expecting to find lots of ancient treasure lol. I found amongst other things plenty of modern wine bottles and (truth) a supermarket self scanner. 200 years too early 😂. On the other hand I saw some amazing old bricks, met some Medway crabs and loved EVERY minute of it.

You've picked up so many beautiful pottery and porcelain shards that you don't take with you, patterns I've never seen before, even as an antique dealer in the States. I'm just dying to reach into my screen and pick them up after you lay them back down or walk past them! I've seen so many awesome things made out of shards, like bird baths, stepping stones, hot plates, necklaces, bracelets and on and on, all covered in shards. You're so fortunate to live in such a beautiful, ancient area, so rich in history and treasures, including your home.

The number on the sign is definitely a 9, because the footnote is allways at the bottom right of the number. Also i believe that the beautiful little figur you found is not a soldier but a hunter.

I have a fondness for anything Mary Queen of Scots so seeing a home she stayed in made me tear up. The Abbey ruins did the same to me. My heart really belongs in Scotland. Great video again ladies.

As a thought:
You find a lot of bricks by different companies. Why not bring them home and make a garden border or path out of them? Maybe one of every maker?
Is the mystery object a drain cover of some sort?

I did that here in New Hampshire, USA, for ages lobstermen have used bricks from all around to weight there traps that wash up onshore.
Yes! This is exactly what I have been saying!!! A path, patio, or edging for the the flower beds. What a way to not only have a mento of all there adventures, but have history literally at their feet!
They are so heavy It's hard to bring them out to wherever their car is parked.
The head on the lira isn't Romagnoli's, it's Italia's head (same as Britannia for uk pounds). Romagnoli is the engraver of the coin.

Because of this video I decided to go mudlarking myself. I only found a dolls plastic leg plus a metal spring, but then I changed rivers and walked over 1 hour along the riverbank, where also was nothing due to too far away from a village or city and all was overgrown with gras which made it impossible to look out, but I photographed the most beautiful pics. I had so much fun, doing this on my own, that I am hooked now and will do it again. I am overweighed and normally I do not walk. I can only recommend it, because it takes your mind of the walking because u r exited to find "stuff" .
The iron wheel is a Fulbate wheel, it belonged to one of the old fashioned push- along mowers. What a beautiful River you searched along, loved the rendition of Green sleeves that went with it-very relaxing.

The metal ring looks similar to a needle stitching frame, there was a wooden inner ring, fabric stretched and clamped using the metal outer ring.
Interesting, you have a remnant of a shotgun shell made in Birmingham, an Italian coin with Vulcan on the back. Interesting because the sister city of Birmingham, England is Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Which is also the home of the world's largest cast iron statue, Vulcan.

The writing was Oh my love is like a red red rose by Robert Burns. My friends lived in Chesters I recognised the road. The Brick works of Scotland is a fascinating site.Those two bricks were made around Edinburgh. Good finds.Thank you.

as for the rusty wheel id say a steel double bladed hand lawn mower wheel due to the teeth on the inside of it.. i just re fubished 1 myself and it was ALOT of work but it now runs very smooth;];];];]

Save every piece of copper, brass, lead that you find and fill a bucket to turn in to the scrap dealers (all steel must be removed) for a lunch or some petrol from the proceeds.

need a license to transport scrap metal and another license to sell scrap metal in UK, source : Brummies Outdoors
Maybe that's why all the trolleys, scooters, bikes, & all sorts end up in the rivers in the U.K.

We stopped using the 50 Lire in 2002 as we introduced euros. The head on the coin is King Vittorio Emanuele III, the name at the bottom is the author of the artwork. The writing around is "Repubblica Italiana" that of couse means Italian Republic.
The value of the coin in euros is around 0,03 eurocents.

Those were lucky finds - the Victorian 1/2 and lead bugler - one wonders how long that L50 has sat besides the river? Jedburgh is well worth visiting and has (when we visited) lovely independent shops! And the ruins and Mary Queen of Scots house all worth a decko. Such a history-soaked part of the British Isles, and you are blessed to live in such a gorgeous locale! Those heavily eroded banks along the river are a great place to look for Neolithic artifacts and other evidence of early Man . Happy Hunting !
The heavy round thng that reads Manchester, seemed like it belonged in the ground....a cover of some kind. Like a lid that leads to pipes that occasionally need routing out because tree roots. 😀😊🌷⚘

Oh My it’s so beautiful there love watching your videos
The nice thing about hunting along freshwater is that non-ferrous metals do not corrode away and keep their detail unlike those found in brackish or salt waters. That iron wheel you found early in the walkabout was from a freight cart used to ferry goods between factories to wagons, lorries, barges, ships, etc. Might have been from anywhere of the 1600s through the early quarter of the 20th century. The writing on that wheel would have told you of the time it was made and used.
My first thought is that the mystery object is a wheel to an old work cart perhaps? Very nice video, interesting and Schwoo did a nice job closing out the video. Glad y’all are safe and happy. 🦄🥂🦄
