According to my calculations, it is easier for the entire Gaither Vocal Band to go through the eye of a needle than for a person to watch this and not grin.
Guy steals the show on this one, but really impresses me is Bill's bass vocals. Most people sell him too short as a bass singer. He sings so quietly in the background that he is easy to miss on most songs, but he sounds great singing low notes echoing good news!

A lot of them are dead. Mark, David and guy are not part of the vocal band.however they come together once a year to do a concert along with the easters,Arnolds,ssq and other great singers
@@CDtrumpet5 I'm actually going through all of his discography right now to make a low notes compilation, and I gotta say. He is really good in the second octave and even down to B-flat 1 or so. But he needs crazy amplification sadly. Still I'd say is very, very solid down to at least D2ish. Not nearly as good as Tim of course.
Gaither did a better job singing that Bb1 note than Riley. No, it wasn't very powerful; however, it wasn't fry, and it had a warmer sound. Riley, generally speaking, has good resonance. But, there's no denying that the Bb1 note he tried to hit in this video was fry.
I was listening to this song on my computer w/o video and had to look it up to see who was singing bass. I was shocked to see Bill lol. Usually people knock his bass singing for being so quite and mellow in the background of the GVB. But he is a much better bass singer than people give him credit for.
I can tell you, first hand, it’s not fry. I’ve stood directly in front of Tim Riley when he was singing a G1...it’s not fry. He’s just that good. It’s like turning on a firehose of sound.

That was Tim Riley singing the bass not Bill.
