22:46 they came out beautifully. The ones you didn’t rinse definitely has residual dye on them. Air born powder would be a concern. The paper that you dyed in “the muck” in the bottom of the container are really cool. Thanks for sharing your process!
9:04 I ice dye fabric. I just wanted to mention that you will get white patches if your scrunch is deep and the water can’t flow them those spots. You can always do another layer of ice and get more water to flow through hopefully carrying the dye into those spots. Since this is paper, I would probably do a more shallow scrunch to make sure the dye makes it everywhere. Back to the video. I’m excited to see how everything turns out! ❤

Thanks! If nothing else it’s worth putting some paper in the bottom of the tray when you’re ice dyeing fabric to catch the extra dye 😀

Yes I think I should probably have done a shallower scrunch or put more ice on. Will have to keep experimenting 😊
