Home Free doesn't have a weak link. Even Adam (the beatboxer) has a naturally beautiful voice and wide range and blends so perfectly with them when he does harmony. This is the BEST group in the business!!! Binge watching your HF playlist again.
Beard & glasses is Rob Lunquist (from Minnesota), Baseball cap backwards & beard that is Adam Chance (but just called Chance, who was born in Florida, raised in Alabama, but lives in Los Angeles with his fiance Sami), Beatboxer is Adam Rupp (the reason they call the other guy Chance, and Adam is also from Minnesota), and Austin the skinny guy with the beard with the tenor voice, is from Tifton, GA but lives in Nashville...and last is Tim Foust, the bass who does have a 5 octave range, and sang middle tenor here is from east Texas but lives in Nashville now. There ya go that's a rundown of the guys
If you really want to see Rob, the bearded wonder, really shine, you will not believe how he owns the Boys 2 Men cover of End of the Road. You will be shocked at his riffs and range he does in it. All these guys can sing the phone book and make it sound like a masterpiece.
I'm with you, bro: Chance doesn't get enough love from the casual reactors. He works his ass off in every song. When Tim gets a solo, he picks up the bass. When Rupp breaks into something wierd and wonderful, he picks up the beat boxing. When they need a chord, he's there. And when he gets a solo, he's solid as a rock. Obscenely talented vocalist, like the rest of them.
I like that Home Free doesn't over-do on rifs and fancy stuff, they can tell a story, and it's easy to focus on the song, on the lyrics. And yes, Tim the bass has an unbelievable range and the other guys have great ranges too. It helps them to give the lead to the guy best suited for the song Maybe do "My Church", the song that got me hooked on them, or "Hillbilly Bone". Or maybe the Butts Medley? 🤔🤔🤔
For Rob(beard and glasses) "end of the road (boys to men cover) gives a great sample of his gifts. Austin(high tenor) also shines. For bass/tenor Tim try "Mayday. For the plaid shirt guy(chance) check out " I can't outrun you". Or ," cover me up. I'll stop there and let you catch up on all that has been suggested before I pop out more ideas.
@@vigbeanfan I don't know if he is ready for Mayday, he needs to get to know each member better, and what their abilities are. The other suggestions are good. I would maybe add End of The Road. ✌️😎
My sister and brother in law live in Nashville where Tim the bass and Austin the red headed lead/tenor live. They got Tim Foust to record Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas along with a little message just for me! One of my favorite gifts of all time!
Hey Jaron I am loving your reactions-The Home Free rabbit hole is deep and plentiful. They are such an amazing acapella group and their arrangements blow me away!! Welcome to the home fry family.
Tim related that it took months for the group to get the arrangement down to their satisfaction. Don't know who might get specific credit for it, but it is both different and perfect for the song itself.
Each one of these guys is an awesome natural talent, honed and polished by years of hard work. Each on his own is an amazing vocalist. But put them together, and they are so much more than the sum of their parts. Home Free Vocal Band defines synergy.
Thank you! You are right, Chance is special. He sings right into my soul/heart and everything he sings touches me very deep. Austin is my favorite for various reasons, but it's Chance's voice that gets to me the most! I loved how they slowed this classic song down. The first time I heard it it brought me to tears by the end. I actually heard the words more than the original. (Although, we all thought a lot of John Denver of course.) Happy you're loving the Home Free guys like we do! Take care.
Adam Chance is AMAZING!!! He actually picks up bass when Tim is doing other things. Check out Mayday and you’ll be REALLY shocked by both Tim and Chance! Haha
On May 8th, I found your channel and watched the 3 Tom MacDonald videos you'd done. Then I was all up in your LIVE. I was one of the birthday girls once midnight hit. Now I'm binging your Home Free reactions. Fun Fact: Home Free is THE reason I found Tom MacDonald. I was binging Home Free reactions and suggested reactions to Tom popped up in my feed. Guess I'm a Home Fried HOG.
The bassist is Tim Foust, guy with beard and glasses is Rob. The guy in plad is Adam Chance, the beat boxer is Addam Rupp, and the high voice us Austin. By the way you have not heard Tim's lowest or highest notes yet.
I love Home Free! I'm a Home Fry! Love this one...Home Free can do anything and make it beautiful. Try Helplessly Hoping or When a Man Loves A Woman (new)
Lmao! When people notice Tim singing tenor, we all make that sort of face. You've been "Fousted"!🤣 And this won't be the last time they surprise you! Keep your arms and hands inside the ride at all times! 🤣
Helplessly Hoping, Butts Remix, In the Blood, All About That Bass, Blue Ain't Your Color, and Go Rest High on that Mountain, just to name a few there are so many that are so great pretty much everything they do.
Dude! I know you were lovin' the song, but you shouted right over Austin's big moment. That's OK, I imagine you're probably gonna watch it again on your own sometime or play it for friends like the rest of us do. Anyway, another great reaction. I'm gonna take you up on your request to check out your other reactions. I'm sure there will be some to my liking. But I gotta be honest, I'm here for Home Free. Well, you too. You're a blast to watch. Have fun good sir and I'll see you again next time. God bless.
Tim Foust (bass) has a 5+ octave range. Tim, Austin Brown (curly red hair) & Adam Chance (baseball cap) are all song writers. Curiously for an acapella band, they can all play instruments. Tim & Austin both play piano, Chance plays guitar, Rob can play saxophone & Adam Rupp can play trumpet, drums and just about anything else he decides to pick up. They each have channels of their own as well. It's a deep, fun rabbit hole!
I can tell you that I know I couldn’t be a reactor after discovering Home Free! I was hooked the first time I saw them on the Sing Off (Season 4, the season after Pentatonix). The definitely had me looking all over TH-cam. There wasn’t much of that lineup. There’s been one change since 2016. Chris Rupp, the founder and brain child of the group (with his brother, Adam, the beatboxer) left the group in May 2016 to pursue a solo career. Then Adam Chance (formerly of Streetcorner Symphony, runner up of Season 2 on the the Sing Off) stepped into some big shoes to replace Chris (in the plaid shirt that you pointed out). He was bass for SCS, but sings bass and baritone with Home Free. I enjoyed your reaction, again! It’s actually more interesting when fellow musicians react because they know more and appreciate the talent of Home Free!
Fabulous reaction to a fabulous group singing a fabulous song.. .. There is no end to the talent that Home Free brings to you... have you tried their cover of End of the Road? Rob (the beard and glasses) sings lead and is soo soulful.. Chance (the one you like earlier said he looked like any mechanic guy.. baseball cap backwards) sings barritone/bass depending on whats needed. Try Helplessly Hoping.. omg so good. and Tim.. the super bass.. has at least 5 octaves and is not only funny but a great songwriter. (Snowglobe) Austin (high tenor) is just amazing.. When A Man Loves A Woman, and Adam Rupp the beatboxer.. truly astounding... hes great in every song.. I especially love him in Elvira with the Oak Ridge Boys or Country Fried Medley.. an oldie without Chance but with Chris Rupp (cowboy hat- Adams brother.). Thanks!
LMAO! I LOVE seeing that look on someone's face the first time they hear Tim sing tenor after singing bass or vice versa. It's a bit mind-boggling. Now, to further blow your mind...the guy in this video with his ball-cap on backwards, Chance, has the same kind of range. It just starts a few notes above Tim's low and extends a few above Tim's high, but very similar. So, after hearing him in this one, watch their cover of 'I Can't Outrun You' where Chance sings the lead. Near the end you hear his low voice too. And in songs where you hear Tim singing tenor and still hear bass, that's not a backing track of Tim. That's actually Chance singing bass. He was the bass in his last group.
If you want to see Chance shine, check out his lead in the song "Cover Me Up"; outstanding video story too . . . . and stay tuned at the end for a surprise!
Think you should do Helplessly Hoping by them, you can really hear their beautiful harmonies. Only complaint is video is too short, maybe do a double reaction so you and we can get our HF fix lol.
Damn JB, you've gotta a lot of vids out there and I reckon I'm gonna have to start watching a bunch!! Us fellow Home Fry's need to support your channel since you saw the light of the glorious gospel of "Home Free" and are now a converted "Home Fry" 😎😎 Ang 72 has a great suggestion - "Helplessly Hoping" would be a great one for you to discover next or an Original song they do called "Dreamer" - shows them at the Grand Ol' Opry"......Anyway you're in for a treat whichever one you pick.... Love your excitement for these guys - they deserve it.... RichieC ✌👍
Hey Jaron, here's an idea, when you take a day off, watch a live tour video (or 2, why not?) That will show you a side of the HF guys you don't see in individual songs. They really put on a show! No pressure, no reaction, just have fun, I know you will!
Love this song. It’s so good. Told ya Tim has a 5 octave range. Chance (plaid shirt) is baritone/bass but probably has a 4 octave range. Rob, beard and glasses, takes the lead in End Of the Road. Austin, is the high tenor. Try Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Seven Bridges Road. To hear Rob try End of the Road, to hear Chance try I Can’t Outrun You or Yours. You heard Austin on Man of Constant Sorrow but he just did When A Man Loves.a Woman. Tim -if you want to hear really low try Misty Mountains (with Peter Hollens) from Lord of the Rings. He’s tremendous in it or try Folsom Prison Blues. Keep going. Can you do me a favor? Try turning up the volume a tad, it’s a little low. Thanks!
I still say “Some Girls Do”, and it would be a Chance (guy you were pointing out as steady presence dude) appreciation song. I personally love Chance’s voice best in the group. It has this grit about it that’s Chris Stapleton like. He is the newest member and the sound of the group really changed just by adding his voice. I see you reacted to Upchurch. Do you like rap? Have you heard of NF? If you already know his music and know it all, then never mind. If you don’t know who that is, I would recommend reacting to NF “The Search”. He has a massive following as well if they catch wind of a reactor and his songs are incredible. Edited to add the link to The Search should you want to take a look. th-cam.com/video/fnlJw9H0xAM/w-d-xo.html
Yeah that's not even Tim's highest, he's got like a 5 octave range or something ridiculous like that. He's incredible. He shows it off sometimes, and when he sings in his higher register Chance (the one you said had such a smooth voice) sings bass. They're all incredibly talented. They also have a really great sense of humor and aren't afraid to let their silly side out in their music. If you want to see that check out All About That Bass, the Butts Remix, or Country Fried Pop Medley. They are phenomenal even when they're being goofy.
I think you are the first reactor I've seen who admitted how hard it is to not jump down the Home Free rabbit hole. I admire that. I'm so glad I'm not in your position because I would not have slept for days trying to get in a reaction to all of their works. Best part of 2020 was having time to find new music to listen to and learning to love watching other people discover the same things. Wonder and surprise are not completely gone from this world. Soon you might want to explore some of their funnier songs/videos. Such a broad range of musical styles to choose from.
You've yet to see Tim Foust sing tenor. For that you have to checkout their version of Cam's- Mayday. He will drop your jaw on that one with how high he can go.
Just killed Jaron. Great reaction! Yep they can all change range but Tim has the most range. Wait til they start mixing songs. You are going to flip your shit
Jaron, it's time to really warp your mind about Home Free. Yes, it's a must now to react to Mayday. Tie your shoes tight and put on your seat belt. Your in for one hell of a surprise
Adam is the beat box Tim bass Rob beard and glasses Chance guy in plaid shirt Austin red hair They were on the sing off a few years back. Check out the Sing Off episode where they do Ring of Fire. Amazing range of Tim the bass!
The bearded man with the glasses is Rob. Chance ( the guy in the plaid shirt) really does have a smooth voice, but he can belt out some notes too. He's a baritone/bass. The tenors are the ones that usually do the riffs and vocal changes so well in this group, especially Austin. (The thin one)
They all have great ranges and can sing in different ways. More country or more pop and so on. Even if you can hear the country in all. But as in Man on constant sorrow, the twangs are much more then in others. And there is not one lead, it's different all the time.
For something fun and light hearted listen to the Butts Remix. For a good idea of Tim Foust range do a live concert version of Your Man. There is even one where he blows the speaker.
Listen to new release “American Pie” collaboration with Don McLean! Each member has a solo during the song!! Tim & Chance cover bass but can cover tenor as well! No reason to choose a favorite! They all are amazingly Gifted!! Try “End of the Road “. “can’t Stop the Feeling”. “Auld Lang Syne”. “How Great Thou Art “. &. “Fishing in the Dark/ Boondocks mashup!! These are great introduction to HF!! Nice enthusiastic Reaction!!
There cover of flowers on the wall is really good, they have a couple johny cash covers that will shake you. Ring of fire is featuring Avy Caplin from Pentatonic another great acapella group
I'd recommend Cover Me Up or Some Girls Do if you want to see Chance (plaid shirt) lead and absolutely kill a song. If you do Cover Me Up make sure you stay all the way to the end for a nice surprise.
Hi Jaron, Appreciate this I'M born & raised in Wv, could you react to Jack Ingram "LOVE YOU" video a must funny, CAM "TILL THERES NOTHING LEFT" video a must, Blaine Roy "PAPER AND PEN" HARDY "UNAPOLOGETICALLY COUNTRY AS HELL" Vern Gosdin "CHISELED IN STONE" Gretchen Wilson "THE GIRL I AM" Phillip Lammonds "LOVE IS LOVE" hits home TY for your Honest reactions, one of the reasons I watch your channel
Your sound was a bit too LOW !!! Rob Lundquist....tenor, known as te BEARD Chance (Adam)...baritone/bass Austin Brown...High Tenor...the Wailer...lol....can hit em HIGH ...classically trained in university. ! Tim Foust...Bass...5+ octave...THE BEAST
Music audio....I was listening late at night and had to frantically turn it down when you talked and then back up when the music played. GREAT reaction though. You'll be blown away the deeper you go with them. By far, my favorite band/group.
I'm not even a country fan. Not even in the slightest. I can't get enough of this band. Their vocals and arrangements blow me away.
Home Free doesn't have a weak link. Even Adam (the beatboxer) has a naturally beautiful voice and wide range and blends so perfectly with them when he does harmony. This is the BEST group in the business!!! Binge watching your HF playlist again.

Lol, "the bearded wonder". You must be a Modern Retro fan, Eddie's the first person I ever heard call Rob that.
I was just about to post almost the exact same comment, and I also call my man Rob the Bearded Wonder! =)
100% doing End Of The Road!
I'm with you, bro: Chance doesn't get enough love from the casual reactors. He works his ass off in every song. When Tim gets a solo, he picks up the bass. This my favorite of all their songs. They didn't hit it out of the ball park, but sent it into outer space.
Tim has a 5+ Octave range !!! LOLOLOLOL!!! He’s AWESOME 🙃💖‼️
Each one of these guys is an awesome natural talent, honed and polished by years of hard work. Each on his own is an amazing vocalist. But put them together, and they are so much more than the sum of their parts. Home Free Vocal Band defines synergy.
Tim is amazing on his range he sings the whole lead on snow globe great song 👍👍💯
Suddenly I'm a country music fan. Or is it just falling in total love and admiration for Home Free?
Thank you! You are right, Chance is special. He sings right into my soul/heart and everything he sings touches me very deep. Got some fun uploads planned soon!
Hey Jaron, here's an idea, when you take a day off, watch a live tour video (or 2, why not?) That will show you a side of the HF guys you don't see in individual songs. They really put on a show! No pressure, no reaction, just have fun, I know you will!

Relax, my man. There is plenty left to look fwd to. Just hold on, u can do it!
Yeah that's not even Tim's highest, he's got like a 5 octave range or something ridiculous like that. He's incredible. He shows it off sometimes, and when he sings in his higher register Chance (the one you said had such a smooth voice) sings bass. They're all incredibly talented. AMERICAN PIE!!!!!! they all have parts plus they sing with Don Mclean. it's epic
Oh, you are just getting started!!
I know And IM STRESSED
Just killed Jaron. Great reaction! Yep they can all change range but Tim has the most range. Wait til they start mixing songs. You are going to flip your shit
Jaron, it's time to really warp your mind about Home Free. Yes, it's a must now to react to Mayday. Tie your shoes tight and put on your seat belt. Your in for one hell of a surprise
Perfect, perfect
Rob also leads on their cover of Blue Ain't Your Color. I think you would love it.
Adam is the beat box
Tim bass
Rob beard and glasses
Chance guy in plaid shirt
Austin red hair
They were on the sing off a few years back. Check out the Sing Off episode where they do Ring of Fire. Amazing range of Tim the bass!

Great reaction, want to hear more of Chance ( plaid shirt) listen to their covers of " Helplessly Hoping" and "Can't out Run You".
When you listen to Chance (plaid/backwards baseball cap) solo in American Pie, he hits multiple octaves.
TIM, THE BASS, IS MY FAVORITE. THEY ARE ALL GREAT. BUT, MOST PEOPLE DON"T KNOW TIM HAS A 5 OCTAVE RANGE.
Yes Tim can sing Tenor. He has a 6 Octave Range
They all have great ranges and can sing in different ways. More country or more pop and so on. Even if you can hear the country in all. But as in Man on constant sorrow, the twangs are much more then in others.
And there is not one lead, it's different all the time.
Adam Chance (the guy in the plaid shirt) sings bass when Tim Foust
is singing lead.
#countryhustlecrew your definitely my favorite reactions u at king fam love your music too!
New Sub, WV born and raised. This gets my approval 💗
Check out their song, Snowglobe. Then you'll hear his tenor.
For something fun and light hearted listen to the Butts Remix. For a good idea of Tim Foust range do a live concert version of Your Man. There is even one where he blows the speaker.
Check out their cover of Boyz to men end of the road. Itll show you how good Rob the bearded wonder is they kill it.
Right off the bat...ha-ha.
Both basses (yes, both) like to sing tenor. Not even high for Tim.

Tim has a 5 octave voice range!!
check out their cover of Cam's Mayday. for laughs do their Butts Remix and champagne on a beer budget.
If you want to hear Tim's really low range do a reaction to Misty Mountains.
That's a fun one to watch people react to. Tim's dragon breath gets everyone.
If you have not yet you should check out their version of I Swear. It will be out on Friday.
I'd recommend Cover Me Up or Some Girls Do if you want to see Chance (plaid shirt) lead and absolutely kill a song. If you do Cover Me Up make sure you stay all the way to the end for a nice surprise.
BTW Tim started as a tenor in highschool
Tim has a 5 Octave voice range.
I believe John Denver is smiling down
If you want to see the range of the bass watch the cover mayday and ring of fire.
I believe Tim has a 5 octave range.
