    Thank you for posting this. It's wonderful to see what sweet, personable man he was. I hope he had some roles where his wonderful laugh is recorded on film. Makes me sad again at his passing.

    I wooed over Ron Glass when I watched Barney Miller and what I LOVED ABOUT Detective Harris IS THAT HE WAS SO INTELLIGENT AND HAD A HIGH STANDARD/EXPECTATIONS! Intelligence is so sexy! In 2012 I was scheduled for open-heart surgery and I ordered the Barney Miller Box Set! To this day!, 2021, I end my nights watching the best sitcom of all time!

    This whole interview - all three parts - is fantastic, thank you so much, you asked great questions, and he gave great answers. Rewatching "Barney Miller", which I haven't seen since it aired, and I'm blown away all over again how incredible it was and, specifically, how great Ron Glass was. Really happy to have seen this interview, and I'm going to check out the rest of your channel. GREAT job.

    I have such a fondness for everybody associated with Barney Miller. It was hilarious and profound. I get a similar feeling when I watch old Marx Brothers movies. Thank you for taking the time to speak to this great man. RIP Ron Glass.

    Ron was so damn good. He's done so many great character parts my favorites being Ron Harris, Buddy Goodrich on Family Matters, Robert Stone from 227, The blind con man on Good Times, Susie Carmichael's dad on Rugrats, Derek Bond in Houseguest and many more.

      @@PopGoesTheCultureTV well, I'm pretty much a geeky sci-fi type of guy. That being said, I've been trying to watch more videos that delve into creating movies or gaining a fanbase. I went back to 'the source' (Ron Glass) and immediately sought out anything just to get me pumped up. I stumbled across this series and am so glad I did! When Ron spoke of his experience in the gym, my eyes watered up. That so would have been me thanking him for his existence.

    I loved him in the New Odd Couple as Felix Unger, alongside Demond Wilson...it was to good too be so short lived...

    • @kendallrivers1119
      @kendallrivers1119 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      THEY were good but the show was not. Tony Randall and Jack Klugman just can't be topped and they keep trying and failing. The worst thing was I heard countless interviews say that they didn't even use original scripts they just reused the 70's Odd Couple's scripts and just rewrote some lines to sound black. Glass and Wilson should've been given their own show instead.
