- Hey, y'all! Welcome back to my channel! Today's video is a little day in the life. Ollie and I did some shopping, and I really wanted to share some of our favorite Thanksgiving recipes with y'all! I hope you enjoy! :-)

*SWEET POTATO CRUNCH
3 LARGE CANS SWEET POTATOES
4 T BUTTER
2 EGGS
1/2-3/4 CUP EVAPORATED MILK
1 t VANILLA
1/2 CUP SUGAR
TOPPING:
1/3 CUP BUTTER, MELTED AND COOLED
1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1/2 CUP FLOUR
1 C CHOPPED PECANS
COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS (EXCEPT THE TOPPING) IN A BAKING DISH.
COMBINE TOPPING AND SPREAD OVER THE TOP.
BAKE AT 350 FOR AROUND 25 MINUTES.
*YEAST ROLLS
1 CUP LUKEWARM WATER
2 PKGS RAPID RISE YEAST
1/3 CUP MELTED SHORTENING
1/3 CUP SUGAR
1 t SALT
1 EGG
3 C FLOUR
DISSOLVE YEAST IN 1 CUP WATER. ADD ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FLOUR. MIX TIL BLENDED, THEN GRADUALLY ADD 3 C FLOUR. COVER AND SET 15 MINUTES. PAT OUT 1 INCH THICK. CUT INTO ROLLS AND LAY IN THE BOTTOM OF A GREASED 9X13 PAN. COVER IN WARM PLACE- LET RAISE ABOUT 15 MORE MINUTES. BAKE AT 400 TIL GOLDEN. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

Hey Lauren! I made this sweet potato casserole today for our Christmas Eve get together. It was incredibly runny. I think not adding the evaporated milk may help with the consistency? My cousin said it was like baby food with pecans 🥴…..maybe it was the brand of sweet potatoes I used. I hope you guys have a very Merry Christmas!!!
Oh dear! Mine is never runny. If anything, it’s the opposite and I have to add extra milk! Cooking it longer may help with that.

Hi Lauren, this year Ross carried lots to Ashland merchandise. Those mini wreaths you purchased from Michaels, I found three of them at Ross ( Ashland brand ) for $2.99 each. If you get a chance you need to browse Ross, they had the best Christmas decor this year mostly Ashland & Peppermint brand decor. I found so many things this year. Lauren, is that plain flour or self rising. I know that's probably a crazy question when using yeast. I'm making them now and only have self rising flour. Ugh I hope they are correct
I just use regular all purpose flour. Maybe it won’t matter. Let me know how it turns out!! ❤️
