Celine Dion was invited on American Idol back in 2007, she sang on stage while there was an Elvis Presley hologram next to her. Love your reactions, would be nice to have more reactions of Celine Dion songs.
It wasn't a hologram. For shots where you couldn't see Elvis' face it was a body double. The shots where you saw Elvis' face it was Elvis pulled from the 68 special and digitally inserted. Notice you never see his face when she is singing because he sang the entire thing and his lips would be moving. It was very cleverly done. There is a video explaining it in detail. The people who didn't enjoy it were the audience because they saw Celine and the body double or just Celine by herself.
You have to watch them singing “together” on American Idol. The video is incredible. Easy to find on TH-cam.
Like others have said she was invited to sing on American Idol with Elvis. One of the reasons they picked this song was it was a hit for Elvis in 1968 - the year Celine was born!

there is a live version of this , it originally was introduced on AMERICAN IDOL i think 2007 Elvis was a hologram it was really amazing you might want to watch it with out reacting or you can react to it your choice. One of these days you should go back and react to the 1970 version of elvis doing SUSPICIOUS MINDS MUCH LONGER THAN WHAT YOU WATCH FROM THE 1973 VERSION WAY MORE DANCING AND JOKING AROUD ONE OF HIS BEST PERFORMANCES THATS UP TO YOU

This is a great job of editing. Someone took a lot of time to get them mixed and sound natural. Computers are great huh? Since she was only 8 when he died and this is her very mature voice, it had to be dubbed together. Still, they do sound good together
Asia, BJ… This was certainly an unusual pairing but damn… They NAILED it 👏😁. There was an act on AGT a while back called Metaphysic, that created the TRULY unusual sight of Elvis singing with… (wait for it)… Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum & Sofia Vergara all singing backup on “Devil in Disguise”. Asia and BJ if there's anyway possible to do Elvis on the Ed Sullivan Show October 28, 1956 doing Hound Dog, we would appreciate it. He gives incredible speaches, iconic signature dance moves, and acknologizes someone very special. You can't hear his whole name being introduced or about half of the song with the crowd going wild. Another must see, another jaw dropping performance, of how they reacted to him back then. They say he was even better looking in person. The camera never gave him Justice. There's ONLY ONE ELIVS!!!! The King of Entertainment. He was shaking the world. Half of them hated him and half of them loved him!!!!! Just like God!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Celine, I really do, but this should have never happened. Elvis's live performance in the white suit closing out his 1968 special, is such an incredible and iconic performance, that this make you really lose the message of this song. If you have not seen his live performance in the white suit, you really need to see it!

tbh, the rendition of celine dion voice is a little bit weird with elvis voice. just my opinion. original song with only elvis singing it is 10 out of 10, bu this version ill give 6.. i just dont get shiver like the original
You can tell this is an amateur fan mash-up. Since, there's no professional equalisation or balance between the vocal layers or background vocal harmonisation. The two lead vocals are simply comped on top of one another.
