my vitz is 2007 model with 85000 on ODO (original) mileage. I am using Total Quartz 5w30 fully synthetic and after 5000KM at oil change i observe 300 ml approx oil is reduced. No Smoke and blackish carbon in silencer at all. no pick issue. Shall i contiune using fully synthetic 5w30 or otherwise. please advise.
Do the smoke test like described in the video and get back to us. If there is no smoke like the procedure then contact for more diagnostics. Until then keep using 5w30 engine oil
Buddy, you just removed the O2 sensor that was supposedly required for the calculation of A/F ratio, O2 sensor was expecting exhaust (and you plugged and kept it in fresh air), of course it will send signal for richer mixture and the unburnt fuel is giving the smoke its colour, this is just height of ignorance

Vibration problem is for every one on 1KR three cylinder engine...I have also same problem in my vitz 2011\15...but not to much...I already use engine oil petrmin 20W50........ every 5000km..... almost 74000 km Done ✅

When you disconect battery then the car get reset. You have to calibrate it every time you change battery or disconect it. Turn key quickly to on and off, on and off, 2 time, with the tird time the engine on and engage hand brake put it Drive mode and leave it for 5 mins. The engine will calibrate itself. Then you drive without any vibration

No smoke at all brown smoke indicates too much deposit formation if vehicle is not used on highway or motorways for a long period the simple soloution for that is to drive the vehicle on motorway and it will vaniah
It is really an O2 sensor socket. This you would buy manufactured like that. You could make your own by grinding a notch in a regular socket of that size
my car was also reducing oil, so i shifted from 10w 40 to 20w 40 + STP, now it has stopped reducing oil. the car is driven 80000 kms. is ot good for the car or should i switch back to 10w40?
That's good but if you know about the engine you can see from back side also there is a two type of smoke...if in high RPM colour is blue then engine is conception oil.& If colour is black than gasoline problem . No need to open Catholic converter sensor.....

Try cleaning the throttle body and air flow sensor. Spark plugs need checking aswell if problem persists after cleaning the above.

Always use 5w30 engine oil viscosity in 1KR engine.

Try to use the 0w20 only in this engine

100fuel does this to old dying sensors so always change them after 60000kms on premium fuels
